Everything was great! The kitchen was fully stocked with cook wear and utensils. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean! There is a portable crib on the premise too if needed! Only suggestion we had was to have a baby gate for the stairs to the basement. We had a 1 year old with us and the stairs not being able to be blocked off made us a little worried but we managed to keep him from them, thankfully.

We, four women ages 75–89, loved everything about this place! The kitchen is beautiful with everything one would want. We loved having morning coffee on the deck! The host was always quick with answere. The one complaint is finding the road to the house—especially at night! Perhaps , a reflector post could be installed. All in all, this is a great place!

This is a terrific property - beautiful setting with a spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable house. Four adults and a dog felt right at home. We easily cooked, made a fire, and spent a lot of time on the covered patio. It was also convenient to hiking in Taconic state park and to retail therapy and restaurants in Hudson. Some of the outdoor cushions are showing their age, and as is one of the room air conditioners, but those are small nits. Overall it was a great stay and we would return.

This home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (6 adults and 1 infant). Communication was great and I had a very quick response when I had difficulty with a door lock. Beautiful home in a beautiful setting - we hope to return next fall!

We had a wonderful stay! It was easy to travel everywhere in the area - we went to Art Omi, downtown Hudson, and across the river to our favorite haunts in Athens, Coxsackie, Catskill, Boiceville, Phoenicia, and Windham! The extra bonus at the house was the fantastic music collection.

Great stay!

Our stay was great. We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t get to spend as much time in the house as we would have liked but the space was beautiful! The views, the deck, the house itself - gorgeous! The beds were comfortable. The flowers were all in bloom which only added to the views. Definitely recommend!

Great stay

The house exceeded our expectations! It has great view of the surrounding countryside and it is well equipped for 1-2 families. It was easy to reach the host when the need arise. We had a great time.

It was Amazing! We rented it to attend a women’s retreat about 11 miles away. All the women who stayed loved. It truely was perfect. The energy was so inviting, the scenery was so serene. The space was just so comfortable. We couldn’t haven chosen a more perfect place for 6 women to cohabitate for a week with. Thank you!

The home was pretty amazing and the kitchen was very well appointed. Space, cleanliness, home as it appeared in pictures. We really enjoyed the inside of the house and love cooking in the kitchen and entertaining/visiting with our family. It is a very warm and welcoming home. The outside, however, is not as pictured. There was one 'dead car' sitting in driveway with another vehicle parked in carport. The outside deck appears old and unmaintained for several years and a step actually broke as my husband was heading down the outside staircase. The wood is very dry rotted. The outdoor furniture had to be cleaned off prior to use and the space outside downstairs in carport was overgrown, not kept up and the furniture was dirty and rotting - not as it appeared in pictures. We loved the house but were really disappointed in how the pictures for the outside just be several years old because it does look like the pictures at all.
