Silo was a very cool experience! The factory was neat below and fun to watch and the river was beautiful. Hosts were quick to answer questions and we enjoyed our stay.

The silo is a unique place to stay. There are many historical sights to visit around that part of Virginia. The day we arrived, the temperature was over 90 degrees. The cooling unit was too small for this temperature. It was hot in the silo. The next day it was cooler and the indoor temperature was fine. The advertisement does not mention the large factory just below the house which operates 24/7.

Amenities were perfect. The place was the cutest place I've ever stayed at. Furnishings were beautiful. Didn't know about the factory so close, but it was entertaining a long with all the deer.

Excellent stay. Yall thought of everything. Yes it is noisy at night but the ear plugs and sound machine helps. I'd recommend cutting the ice machine off at night too. This was a very unique place. We even got a visit from a herd of deer. 14! Babies too.
