The unit was clean. Check-in was smooth. The host couple very warm and friendly. There was deer on the property- which was delightful to see and hear. It truly was a great place to stay.

The property is a bit out in the open, we were thinking shady redwood grove type vibe. You could see some distant redwoods but none close to the cottage. The cleanliness was fine and we got by without a TV as there were some books etc.Its petty basic but with fees and tax its 250 plus a night something a little nicer was expected.We saw the hosts and they were very friendly and offered help if needed, none was…Santa Cruz lodging is expensive so this was a bit less expensive alternative…
