This house was well-appointed, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. We enjoyed walking to local eateries and shops, and we had beautiful evenings in that huge living room, playing charades and drinking wine. Plenty of beds for all of us, and everyone slept well, so I'm assuming all the beds were as comfortable as mine was. The kitchen was great, and we had several home-cooked meals during our stay. Best part of staying here was the quick response to our questions. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to get back one day.

The home was great and very roomy and comfortable. Location was nice and close to a number of good restaurants. Unfortunately it was not fully cleaned when we arrived, and we were unable to enter via the front door. Several things were not working or in need of repair. I think the house is great, the location is great, but it needs a bit of TLC from the owners.

Upon arriving at the property, it was not adequately clean as there was urine in the toilet, stains on the bedding, previous guests articles of clothing, and debris in the backyard. There was also significant safety concerns as the front porch tile was loose along with there being no marker to indicate a drop between the edge of the property and the sidewalk which caused me and my sister to slip in both spots. Although the balcony was advertised as functioning, when I arrived, there was a sign that said that it was unavailable due to it not being safe. Additionally, since the fridge did not hold adequate temperature, all the food I brought had to be thrown out and I could not save any leftovers from DoorDash. The host did compensate 250 for this (the food) although it did not cover the cost of all the food that had to be thrown out. The vent in the kitchen was not working and the dishwasher was falling out of it's spot as well. I realize that I could have contacted the host during the stay but the sheer amount of things that kept going wrong was high and I did not want to spend the entire vacation going back and forth with the host or VRBO. Also some of the issues would not have been able to be immediately resolved. This review is similar to another one posted about the property by Tim L. about the property not being fully clean and several items not being in working order and in need of repair.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. The refrigerator issue was only brought to our attention after your checkout, which meant we were not given the opportunity to inspect or address it during your stay. Following your message, we still provided a goodwill refund for the food you claimed were spoiled given the fridge issue. We’ve been very gracious in offering this compensation, especially as most of the items listed were ready-to-eat takeout meant for immediate consumption, and some did not require refrigeration. For this reason, we believe the refund provided is fair under the circumstances. Additionally, the other concerns mentioned in your review were not communicated to us during your stay. Had we been informed at the time, we would have gladly investigated and assisted in resolving them right away. We take cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety seriously, and we appreciate feedback that helps us continue improving.
