Make yourself at home in a quiet northeast Seattle neighborhood near the University of Washington, Seattle Children's and University Village. This one-bedroom, one-bath mother-in-law apartment sleeps up to four guests and has its own exterior entrance from the backyard.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The bedroom has a queen bed. The living-room sofa converts to a queen bed, with sofa-bed linens stored inside the sofa.

COOK, RELAX AND SETTLE IN
The full kitchen has a gas range, cookware, utensils and basic cooking supplies. Enjoy the living room and fireplace, Wi-Fi, TV, and the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer. Free street parking is available nearby; spaces are not reserved.

OUTDOOR SPACE AND PRIVACY
The backyard and patio, including the outdoor dining area, are shared with your host's household and available for guests to enjoy. Your host lives upstairs, and family members are often at home.

HEATING AND COOLING

This apartment worked great for our stay. It was clean although the yard was a bit cluttered. We were able to park on the street right in front of the property every time we returned. John was quick to answer when we sent a message with whatever we needed.

Apartment close to UW

Nice apartment in a great location. We walked to U Village for dining and groceries. And easy Uber to Capitol Hill for dinner. Also, easy access to the campus and Husky Stadium.

Very nice cozy place to stay in Seattle

Nice kitchen with great appliances and kitchenware. Comfy bed, walk-in closet. In-unit laundry was super nice to have available. Host was very helpful and responsive. Neighborhood is extremely nice and the house is close to a lot of fun activities such as the Burke-Gilman trail and great restaurants.

Thank you for your feedback. Our listing clearly states that the owner lives on-site, and we have quiet hours in place to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. We regret if there was any noise disturbance during your stay, and we would have gladly addressed it if notified.The bags you noticed outside were part of the pre-winter yard cleanup. As for the cigarettes, there is an ashtray on the porch for personal use, but if any cigarette butts were found elsewhere, they may have been left behind by contractors, and we apologize for that.We strive to maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment, and we wish you had reached out during your stay so we could have addressed any concerns right away. Thank you for your feedback—it helps us improve for future guests.

Cute but….

I was in town for a conference. I arrived early and was allowed to go in 45 minutes early. The house was in the back downstairs. Once in I realized that someone lived upstairs. There was a lock door from upstairs to the downstairs. Being alone made me very uneasy. I could hear walking all evening. If things were dropped upstairs it made a huge noise downstairs. He does have a dog, but I never heard the dog. The tv had blown speakers so I was unable to watch tv while there.

After speaking with the homeowner, they wanted to clarify the following:-The homeowner lives in a separate unit upstairs, and this is noted in the listing details so guests are aware of the setup before booking.-There is no dog on the property, so there shouldn’t be any concerns regarding pets.-The homeowner was unaware of the TV’s blown speakers and will ensure it is either repaired or replaced for future guests.Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to provide you with a more comfortable stay next time!
