After a day of skiing, hiking, golfing, biking or fishing in the Cascade Mountains come home to a soothing rest in your private five person hot tub, then relax in front of the fireplace in your rich cotton robes with a good book, watching TV or movie.
Just looking for a place to rest and unwind? You've found it! Stroll down to the river or walk through the beautiful gardens and sit awhile at the trout pond. From the edge of the water enjoy feeding the large Rainbow Trout ….. but no fishing poles!!
For a marvelous balance Alder Creek Cabin features personal concierge service, local brochures, maps and in-house massages. From our garden, fresh herbs are available for your cooking pleasure. With binoculars in hand, provided by Alder Creek Cabin, enjoy bird watching at the cabin or nearby. When the snow falls, grab the cabin snow shoes, and head for the hills for a day of sights and sounds in the back country of Mt. Hood. While you are surrounded with Northwest History from the Oregon Trail to the Columbia Gorge and River you will be 'Cozy, Comfy and Warm' at Alder Creek Cabin.

The property was bought as a project. We wanted to be in the mountains and at a low elevation as we enjoy gardening. Since we have been here we have created a history that we enjoy sharing with our guests including words and pictures. Be sure to ask how this magnificent place came to be.
