Good location. Close to the airport. We Ubered downtown. Neat to watch the seaplanes come in and go out. Roomy accommodations. Comfortable beds. The house was very clean. We cooked at the property. The stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster all worked. There were plenty of dishes and glasses. We appreciated the bottled water and few snacks. There are two rooms to hang out in on the main floor. Nice place.

This was the perfect place for our family during our stay in Anchorage. It was exactly as described in the listing. The house was easily the cleanest vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. It is obvious Lindsey takes pride in her house. Everything was very cozy and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. An unexpected bonus was not needing to rush out and get things like spices, laundry detergent, etc. after a long day of traveling. It’s already there! Lindsey thought of all the little things.The house was also in the perfect part of town for the activities we had planned while here. Getting to the other side of town is just a short drive away. The airport is about 4 minutes away. There are restaurants within walking distance and more within a few minute drive. The views of the lake with the float planes taking off and landing were pretty neat too.Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Communication was excellent. If you’re planning on staying in Anchorage for any length of time, stay here! Lindsey is a great host!

This house was so cute and the layout was so open and inviting. It’s my new favorite floor plan! It was a great place for visiting and hanging out. The view of Lake Hood from the master bedroom was amazing. We simply loved hearing the float planes taking off every morning and getting to watch them from the window. Our family of six stayed here for six nights during our stay in Anchorage. There was plenty of room for our teenage boys to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious and easy to use to cook and save money on eating out. So many little details many hosts leave for the guest to provide (tp, paper towels, coffee filter, tissues, etc) were there for us to use. It made our first shopping trip much less urgent than is usual in our experiences with vacation home rentals. The backyard had a hammock and cornhole boards and a grill. We were too busy taking day trips to use the backyard, but there was plenty to do at the house if we needed some down time. Lindsay was quick to respond every time I messaged, and we had no issues whatsoever checking in or out. I’m not sure we’ll ever make it back to Alaska, but if we do, this would be our first choice place to stay again! We loved every minute!
