We had a great stay at this VRBO. The unit was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided, and the space was well maintained. The location was convenient, and communication with the host was easy and responsive. Overall, everything was great and we would definitely stay here again!

Awesome quaint cozy spot. 8 minute walk to the beach and night life, but very quiet. Whole place is redone / updated. Love the bathroom and kitchen. Host is very courteous and helpful. My only problem, I wish we had more time to explore the area. We had a great experience here. Got to do laundry so no dirty clothes going home, we cooked a nice steak dinner, bed is comfy too. Also love the iguanas that live on the grounds, real cool to see them hanging around.

The apt had some challenges......the toilet leaked (day 1- Nov 10) repair workers on day 2 (Nov 11) then toilet wouldn't flush and drains not working in kitchen sink, toilet, washing machine overflowed day 3(Nov 12).....host sent workers and we stayed elsewhere for Day 4&5 at our expense. Returned Day 6 in evening and all seemed good except washing machine had no power and kept blowing breaker. Host never offered to find us another place or discount our stay due to problems.

Hi Cynthia, I’m truly sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t what you had hoped for. We always want our guests to feel comfortable, taken care of, and supported throughout their visit. We did respond to each concern as soon as we were notified, including sending licensed professionals immediately to address the plumbing and electrical issues. All plumbing repairs were fully completed on November 11. We were not aware that you chose to stay elsewhere during the visit. Had we known, we absolutely would have stepped in to assist you. We manage several properties in the area and would have gladly moved you to another home to ensure you were comfortable. Regarding the breaker issue, we did share that it stemmed from an FPL equipment problem outside of the unit, but we still did everything in our power to resolve it quickly for you. Again, I’m very sorry for any inconvenience you experienced, and I wish we had known sooner so we could have supported you better. If there’s anything you’d like to discuss further, I’m here to help.

The place was clean and looked as if recently renovated. There were a couple of issues and they were reported (and received answers from the owner) such as a window with NO window cover and looking DIRECTLY into the shower and extreme drilling noise coming from the next door unit being renovated...HOWEVER when I sent the third question/complaint (concerning a new microwave that was NOT working)...the owner STOPPED replying to my email as if I was bothering them too much, which the way we saw it, it was to their advantage because as a multi-property owner myself, I was making them aware of issues in their unit that needed attention and were practically easy to fix...so after that last email concerning the microwave that went UNANSWERED, I too stopped writing and decided to just let the end of our stay come, and let them find out for themselves what all I saw wrong with their unit.

In every instance, we also offered reasonable solutions, including addressing the window privacy film concern. Regarding the microwave: it was unplugged, which is why it initially appeared not to work. Once plugged in, it functions normally. As for the construction noise, we want to be clear that we do not control nearby city or private construction activity. As noted during your stay, all work in the area occurred during standard business hours and did not violate county “quiet hours.” While we are sorry to hear the stay did not meet your expectations, it is inaccurate to suggest that concerns were ignored or unaddressed. When we arrived to the apartment, the door was unlocked and cracked open, which was a little alarming and unwelcoming. We entered the apartment and there was a strong odor of mildew and I immediately brought it to the host's attention. The host stated it was impossible to smell because they just did renovations. We thought it may have been the wet towels left in the dryer but we later discovered the stench came from under the kitchen sink. One bedroom window had no curtains or frosted glass and could be peered into from outside. This was unsettling because someone could easily see in to see us changing or sleeping. The first night of our stay the shower would not drain and when brought to the host's attention, I was told to unclog it myself. I refused and a maintenance man quickly came to fix it. The microwave would not rotate or heat food. I wish I had read previous reviews before booking. The only saving grace was the location. The neighborhood was beautiful and very close to the beach and areas to explore.
