Lovely cabin very homey. Very clean and comfortable. The area surrounding the cabin is very nice great fire pit. The host was very easy to reach and attentive. Has a well stocked kitchen all you need to cook a meal. A BBQ charcoal grill available to use. Great stay.

Beautiful area where we stayed--very remote and quiet. Deer popped up on the property and ate up the apple we gave her with relish. The house itself was what I believe a traditional mountain cabin should look like--- and very homey. The bed was also very comfortable, and we both got some terrific sleep there.Everything we needed for our stay was provided and it was perfectly located between Inlet and Eagle Bay with easy access to all the restaurants in both towns not to mention all the hiking trails that are also close by.Highly recommend this vacation spot to all who love ADK.

It is a very cute Adirondack style house between inlet and eagle Bay. The owners were very communicative. Check in and checkout was very smooth and the overall property is great. There is a small trail out the back and that leads to state land that you can continue exploring if you are up for it. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved this cabin, cozy, clean, very comfortable.. easy to find, the location is amazing. Close to inlet, eagle bay, old forge, lots of close hiking restaurants, lakes, and still when u go home, its like you are far away from everything, Quiet area, lots of stars and nature. The area was quiet enough to walk my dogs on the street , they love walks so we did that early and then took them wherever we headed that day! Communication with the host was excellent, any questions I had , they got back to me soon! We really loved the space at this cabin, it was very nice inside and very well taken care of, we alo loved all the books and the character of the home, thank you!

Great camp

We enjoyed our stay very much! Very good communication with Bruce and Caryn prior to and during our stay. Location was perfect right between Olde Forge and Inlet. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for two nights and had a very enjoyable experience. The property is charming, nostalgic, and offers great amenities. We visited specifically to enjoy the fall foliage, and we were not disappointed. The scenery was beautiful and made for a wonderful weekend getaway.Communication from the owners was excellent throughout the process. They were responsive, helpful, and made check-in and check-out very easy.One area for improvement would be providing a more detailed list of items guests are expected to bring. We were looking forward to a weekend where we didn't have to pack many necessities, but were surprised to learn that several items needed to be provided by guests, including bedding, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing pods, and cleaning supplies. While this wasn't a major issue, having this information more clearly communicated in advance would help guests prepare accordingly.Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the property to others looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Great stay

My family and I usually stay in Old Forge but this gem in Eagle Bay was great. We enjoyed ourselves all week long and look forward to going back. The back porch was so nice to sit and relax and read after having a fire in the fire pit. Bruce was a wonderful host and always answered all my questions. We look forward to going back..thank you

Uncas Rd Getaway

Exactly the getaway place we were looking for - and expecting! Private with the feeling of being isolated, but SO close to all we needed - groceries & shopping in Inlet, hiking of all kinds, private beach at Upper Pond… plus a roomy rustic Adirondack cabin (with a fully stocked kitchen for ease of all the cooking we did)! Definitely on our list of places to return to!

Lovely and clean cabin just as described. Great location in between Inlet and Old Forge. Quiet road and property. Close to a number of popular hikes. Communication with host was a breeze. Pleasant and responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
