Cozy getaway

Very convenient since we was visiting family in silverhill! Loved how it was close to them! We visited the U.S.S Alabama, done shopping in Foley, and spent the day at Gulf Shores on the beach! We even enjoyed a day paddle boating and fishing at the house! Would recommend this place if you like the quiet peaceful evenings and nights after exploring all day! Will definitely keeps this place in mind when we come back!!

River Fun

The River is amazing. Our kids loved playing in the water and running in the yard. We truly enjoyed our trip. The house is old but has plenty of beds and gave our kids their own space.

Fantastic river house close to Fairhope!

My stay was wonderful and Michelle was a great, responsive host. I was fortunate to enjoy the property on the river for over a week. It's so close to Fairhope, only about 20 minutes away - but in a serene, quiet and peaceful area. The road was a quiet road that my dog loved walking on and we really enjoyed the huge outdoor space. Will be back!

Peaceful Retreat plus fun for families

Very clean and nice. On a very peaceful inlet of the river. Kayak and paddleboat provided would be fun in nice weather. Would highly recommend.

Mardi Gras

We traveled down from North Mississippi for the Mardi Gras festivities. We come every year for Mardi Gras. Our stay at this beautiful waterfront location was relaxing and welcoming. Drinking coffee by the water while the kids played in the yard was worth every penny. I would recommend this location to anyone. Contact with the host professional and efficient!

A Perfect Stay!!

We had such a good time staying at this home on the river! Upon arriving, we immediately felt at home here. Very cozy, clean and well stocked for all our needs! It was very therapeutic to sit on the dock by the river everyday. We enjoyed observing the wildlife (pelicans, ospreys, turtles) and catching fish with the poles that were provided by the owners. Communication with the owners was excellent as they were kind and very responsive. You can tell that they really care about the place and their renters. It is a perfect retreat and we will definitely be returning!

Great getaway!

Super cute and cozy home. Patio, yard and dock were fantastic! The location is so quiet and secluded, you feel like you have the river to yourself! The only drawback was having one bathroom if you are staying with multiple people but other than that, everything was fantastic. The hosts are incredible and super fast to communicate. So many thoughtful items in the home, like cozy throw blankets, board games, yard games, a few bikes for kids, life jackets, 2 canoes and a pedal boat, etc. We can't wait to return again for the summer!

Property needs work. Sun deck on above boat lift was closed due to rioting wood? Toilet kept running needs new float valve. Had to call to mow lawn which took 3 days to actually show up. The lawn should be mowed at least weekly. Garage had stuff all over the place, needed to be organized. The grill should have been replaced at least a year ago and needs to be upgraded to a gas grill. Will not rent again.
