Warren was an excellent host and very accommodating when we needed to adjust our dates. The property was perfect for our group, as we were in town for my son's wedding. Everything was exactly as described, and the location worked great for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book Smokies One again. Highly recommended!
We had 9 people, two families, with plenty of room. The resort is beautiful and the unit was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and very clean. We will be back! Loved the location too, very close to downtown Blowing Rock.
Great condo! Didn’t give it a 5 star because it was a condo that slept 11, but there were only 6 coffee cups- we dug our sippy cups from our vehicles and made it work. The fridge needed a new water filter, so the ice and water in the door didn’t work- called it in and they responded quickly, but didn’t have a filter. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay and we’d definitely stay again! Thank you
Cleanliness and the layout of this well-equipped condo worked perfectly for my wife and I, and two adult children, one with a partner! We look forward to coming back! There was an error in the description, namely, "0.2 miles to downtown." It's more like a mile from this unit, and not a friendly walk, at least not with snow and ice around. It's 0.2 miles to town from the GATE of the resort, not the condo. Also, the internet was not great. Perhaps need routers both upstairs and downstairs.

Dear Susan - Thank you for your stay and comments on our condominium. I have just ordered new routers for this unit upon your comment, so thank you for letting me know it is running slowly!
You are correct about the walk from the condo to town and we will make a change in the description since they are all measured from the gate to town.
Have a great February!

Chetola Resort is a beautiful property and the recent updates such as the dock house, sandy beach area, and restaurant/patio are wonderful. The condo had plenty of room for my family with two adult children, a spouse and grandchild. The area was quiet and restful. We had everything we needed.
