We had a precious, memory-making time at Hawthorne! Penny was a wonderful host and took great care to make sure we were comfortable! We had an amazing time fishing and catching some huge catfish off the dock! It’s a vigorous walk down and back up so be prepared- but you’ll get to see tons of wildlife- a small herd of deer, lots of cute and fuzzy groundhogs, and birds singing out tha wazoo.

The host was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. The house was very nice and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend it to everyone. The kitchen is very modern and there is a lot of space inside and outside the house. I would definitely stay there again.It’s close to shopping without being in the middle of traffic

I really love this place. Everything smelt so good inside. They provided so much just to get you started. The communication was perfect. The checkout was seamless. Absolutely worth every penny. In the middle of everything. The path to the dock is a little rough but once again totally worth it. The dock is cute and has a sun deck. Screened as a unscreened porch. Neighbors were nice. Best place I've stayed at in years!! Thanks again
