Sandcroft Beach House

Sandcroft is a spacious two-story beach front cabin located in the quiet community of Neskowin. This home is one of the original houses in Neskowin (i.e. rustic). It is a large 'beach cabin' yet has an updated kitchen and modern amenities. It is set back off the street in a lush setting; perfect for family reunions, romantic getaways, or corporate retreats. Listen to the surf and enjoy the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean right from the deck.

The first floor has one bedroom (sleeps 2), one bath, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room that seats 10. A great family/living room with a huge fireplace that adds to the perfect beach atmosphere (firewood provided by owner). Upstairs has 5 bedrooms and one large full bathroom. Upstairs bedrooms include: 2 Kings, 1 Queen and four twin beds. The 1st floor has a wrap-around deck with a gas BBQ and there is a deck off of a 2nd floor bedroom. There is a private path that leads to the beach and 'Proposal Rock' is just a short walk to the south.

We have parking for up to 6 cars. Ask owner regarding pets. Maximum occupancy: 12.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house. We are located 15 minutes from Lincoln City and Pacific City.

This pet-friendly (no fence but plenty of spaces to smell!) with very clean and tidy rooms. The space heaters worked well as did the fireplace. The best part is the beach view from the house (from both first and second floors) and the leisurely walk to the beach. The host was easy to contact prior to the trip. The washer and dryer are located in the cellar, so not as convenient to access. The oven also was not heating properly, but we substituted the grill for most of our planned meals that would have used the oven. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked with plates, dishes, pots and pans, and grilling equipment. For the age and history of this house and area, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

We loved the location and found it very easy to get to the beach from the house. It's a relatively short walk on the beach to the center of the charming town of Neskowin. Even with our large family, the six bedrooms were enough to accommodate us, and we loved the large living/dining area where we could all be together. The weather was a bit chilly, so we really appreciated the large fireplace and provided firewood. The kitchen was very roomy, so it was easy for us to cook our meals there. Overall, we were happy with the Sandcroft Beach House, and we look forward to our next stay there.

Wonderful beach house with old school charm and just a short walk to a fabulous beach. The weather was perfect for our walks on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals and the dining table large enough for all of us to sit and play games. A great place for making family memories.

This place was absolutely filthy and in complete shambles. The filth was everywhere, showers immediately backed up, the kitchen was not fully functional, the washer and dryer (accessible from outside only with a sign on the door that said “ keep it shut to keep the bats out” didn’t work either we attempted to used it to only have our clothes locked inside. The house was full of bugs, spiders and over all grossness. The lights flickered randomly the beds and bedding were ancient some of the furniture was held together by nails that went all the way through and stuck out ankle level about 2 inches on the sharp side. I have videos and pictures of these awful things I will I would have known about!! If this place offered me money to stay I would have said absolutely not!! That’s how awful it is!!! Not safe or sanitary!!

The steps taken upon notification of these issues were as follows: a handyman arrived the same day and unclogged the drain. He used the washer access method posted on top of the machine to open the door and confirmed the washer was functioning properly. He also tested the oven and verified that both heating elements were working correctly. Additionally, he noted that the home was clean and well maintained. As a gesture of goodwill, I issued the guest a full refund and offered the property free of charge for the remainder of the week. Upon the guest’s departure, both the housekeeper and handyman inspected the property and found no nails protruding from any of the beds. The next guest, who stays at the property annually during the same time period, checked in the following day and sent a text message with a photo of his smiling dog stating, “This place is as awesome as ever. Thank you so much.” Sandcroft is a 100-year-old rustic beach cabin with modern amenities. It is intended for guests who appreciate an authentic beach house experience.

Wonderful time at the Sandcroft Beach House!

The Sandcroft Beach House was the perfect place for our Sisters-By-The-Sea retreat! With 11 of us, ranging in ages from 1 year old to 67 year old, there was plenty of room to spread out! Everything about the home was perfect for all our needs...kitchen very well stocked, bedrooms beautiful and inviting, everything in every room clean and well organized. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Fabulous Beach House!

We’ve been heading to Neskowin for years and have to say this is one of the best beach houses we have ever stayed at. We especially loved the rustic aesthetic, but the kitchen was easy to work in and the house is overall well appointed. Looking forward to a trip back in the near future.

Plenty of room, close enough to the beach that we didnt worry about the children. The kitchen and dining table were great, easy to accommodate the 14 of us. This was our second stay. Love it there!

Amazing home away from home

We had a great time. The little town of Neskowin is so charming. The beach was perfect with a great tide pool for the kids. The furnishings in the house were comfortable and so lovely. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful Stay

This home was absolutely perfect for our group of 10, with room to spare. Great location that felt private and was a short walk to the beach. Ocean is visible from the deck and we could fall asleep to the sound of the surf. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. The house was very dog-friendly. Our new favorite place to stay on the coast!
