From sunrise to sunset, loads of stargazing await you, and every corner of this home is crafted for enjoyment. Start your day with a dip in your private pool (with volleyball net), unwind in the hot tub, or challenge friends in the game room, featuring Ping-Pong, foosball, and pool. Catch a movie in the private home theater, complete with an 80-inch TV.

Topsail Beach Week

Each year our large family spend a week at the beach at various locations. This home was one of the best todate. Beautiful beaches, plenty of beach space and super cool to simply walk to beach. Pool location is a little unusual but was a private pool.

Gorgeous home that needs some maintenance before it has big issues. We had issues with ants in the kitchen, the elevator not working, and the refrigerator intermittently getting very warm. Sad to say, Vacasa is not very responsive.

Extended Family Getaway

This is a great property to host a large group and/or family. The bottom floor is setup for mixed entertainment and access to the beach. The next two floors offer 4 rooms per floor and an opportune space to sneak away for some idle when needed. Finally, the top floor was an amazing open space that can easily host 14 people with a spacious bar, large kitchen, and large large couch that has spaces for everyone. All of this is connected by an elevator to leisurely move you across the 4 floor home. Would go back in a heartbeat. Not one bad thing to say.

Our family vacation July24

The location is great! Easy access to the beautiful beach and a nice private pool. We had 21 family members - 11 adults and 10 teenagers. Lots of space for everyone in this house. The 7 king bedroooms are all a nice size as are the bathrooms. The 2 rooms with bunks were a little tight for our older kids but there are multiple comfortable couches. The living/dining area is very spacious with lots of places to sit for meals and the kitchen is well supplied. We had a great time at Serenity!

Great living room on the 4th floor, worked great for our group of 20+ Great location right there on the beach The rooms were really good size Beverage coolers in the bar were great Washer/Dryer was great ROKU TV worked really well for the most part Having a downstairs fridge helped for easy beach access The air conditioners really worked well and kept the house cool on all levels The swimming pool was really nice.

Perfect extended family vacation!

We had 3 generations in the house including 7 kids ranging from 1 yr - 10 yrs. The floor plan was fabulous. The first level of game room and movie room was great for the kids to run around when not in the pool or on the beach. The top floor's open plan and beautiful views of the ocean and beach were breathtaking. We loved the beach being only a few steps away from the house! We had the perfect amount of space and amenities. Can't say enough positives. Thank you for offering such a great property!

Nice House- Lots of space- Needs some TLC

This is a great location. The Pool was a big hit with the kids. It is across the road from the house, but that is ok. I really wish they would get the Elevator fixed and inspected. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed there and it has been disabled both times. The sign on the elevator door says that it is not compliant with Weston's Law.

Serenity is beautiful!

We loved so much about our week at Serenity. The house provided plenty of room for our large family and it had so many thoughtful amenities - even box fans and space heaters for the rooms if needed. Plenty of dishes, cooking pots, coffee makers, two dishwashers and two ovens. We had 26 to feed for most meals. We also weren’t on top of each other. There was plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean and the elevator was so wonderful. It is a work of art. We just booked our stay for next year so we could do it all over again!!

OMG! What a house!

The house is sixty feet away from the ocean, and high enough to see over the dune from the second floor to the fourth!The living room in the top floor is, I believe, bigger now than in the pix on the website.It's up high, overlooking the ocean, like being in a boat.It has a beautiful deck (as do all the floors, in the front of the building overlooking the marsh as well as the back of the house overlooking the ocean)!The living room is spacious, open and inviting with kitchen, dining, and breakfast nook space all attached. It has lots of big windows, so you get amazing panoramic views of the ocean and the marsh.The kitchen is fairly well stocked for what probably was the 23 people that the house can sleep. (We only had 14).The bedrooms facing the ocean are all amazing.We watched the sunrise from bed most of the days of our stay. The bedrooms facing the marsh are equally beautiful.The main downside was that all of the bunkbeds were evil and desperately need mattresses instead of just the foam that was on them.They were so uncomfortable as to be unusable, but fortunately the couches are fairly comfortable.That's what gives this 4 instead of 5 stars.The rental agency had told me that the elevator “wasn’t available,” but fortunately it was!It appeared that it only recently fixed. The pool table was passable with only one decent cue.The ping pong paddles, though workable, were broken and needed replaced.The rental agency was friendly and I could understand their accents.

Terrible Stay

My family and I rented Serenity over Christmas. When we arrived, there was trash on the front porch and strewn about the yard due to possums getting into it and could potentially cause more rodents. The house was not cleaned after the last guests. We spent 2 hours cleaning the refrigerator to even put our food in it. The showers were disgusting with mold and grime. There were dishes in the dishwasher that appeared to have been there for a while and had to be rewashed. There was one toilet that was covered in urine. Also, linens were not provided until I called. The home is beautiful, but it is not well maintained. There was a problem with garbage disposal, kitchen sink leaks, remotes not working for TVs, toilet overflow, and a window fell out of the sill in one room (entire second floor was freezing). The banister/railing on the top floor is broken and a hazard especially for children. Additionally, mattress protectors were not on all mattresses, and some mattresses had bodily fluids on them. Many of the mattresses need to be replaced. The refrigerator in the game room doesn’t work and refrigerator in the kitchen doesn’t get cold enough. There were no pillow protectors on any of the pillows. This is extremely unsanitary. The home also has ants. The lights in the elevator don’t work. I spent my entire trip calling, emailing, or texting Vacasa about the issues we encountered. They were not responsive; I received the same message that they were working on it. After repeated calls, they finally sent a cleaning crew to do the basics after we cleaned the home to make it livable. They also sent a handyman for the toilet and window. All other requests were not acknowledged nor responded to. Vacasa should spend time deep cleaning the home and fixing all the problems. Many of the problems we encounter could have been avoided with some attention and regular maintenance/upkeep. Further, Vacasa needs to improve its customer service by responding to all requests or at least acknowledging why something can’t be done; communication goes a long way. We spent much of the time wondering if they were going to take care of the problems. As a result of our experience, I would never stay at a home managed by Vacasa again.
