The house itself was as advertised and had a well stocked kitchen. The issue had to do with the outside of the house. It was clearly not maintained. The lawn had not been mowed rendering any enjoyment of the back yard impossible. In addition, the garden beds were overgrown with weeds which was quite unsightly. It is an easy fix and should make the house a perfect place to stay.

Unfortunately, the weather prevented us from completing the lawn maintenance before your arrival. We understand how that impacted your ability to enjoy the backyard, and we agree that a well-maintained outdoor space is an important part of the overall experience. We've since addressed the landscaping and will continue to stay on top of it so future guests can fully enjoy the property. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. The house was very clean and beautiful! The location was a great near stores, Metro, and an easy drive to DC. The host was attentive via VRBO mailbox. The house and yard were family friendly and pet friendly, with a great layout for kitchen gatherings! There was room on the driveways and street for 5 cars. The house was well stocked with kitchen pans, and dishes, and soaps for the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. Unfortunately, the Hamilton Beach coffee pot barely made any coffee after an hour. The beds were comfortable, but the covers were very thin and spare blankets would be helpful. The first floor bedroom did not have good air circulation, so we left the door ajar. We loved the smart home features, particularly the smart refrigerator - what a treat! The microwave situated low in the island was hard to reach and very hard to read the buttons. Suggest adding brief instructions on how to use some of the smart appliances, such as the upstairs thermostat. I googled endlessly how to ensure the fridge made ice, and finally asked google if a smart fridge would know when the ice was low - which it did! Amazing! The upstairs sectional sofa was not comfortable for sleeping, as the sections came apart - consider if they can be clamped together.
