Check in was quick and easy, a little hiccup was trasch was left overflowing in the garage, however workers came the next day to pick it up. Great location and the property was well kept.

It’s a beautiful home in a beautiful, safe neighborhood, close to everything. The home is well stocked, lovely decor and comfortable. David was very accessible.

Master on main with en-suite bath. Half bath on main floor. Bathroom with tub on 2 nd floor. Quiet n’hood.We loved this location b/c it was close to our Mobile family’s home. We also went to the art museum which was very convenient and fun! Host was helpful prior to arrival to answer requests/questions. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The house was nice and plenty of room. The master bed was very comfortable. The laundry room was a bit of a mess, there was nothing over the top for the price ie: a lot of VRBOs that we have stayed in have had games room or some type of entertainment, this had none of that. Communication with the host was good, but was on flights most of the day and did not get the info to enter the house until a few hours before we arrived, in the past I have received info a couple of days prior to arrival. Nice neighborhood and easy access to everything.

We arrived to a nicely lit home, but when we entered, we were immediately hit by a strong cigarette smell throughout the house. The owners said a previous guest had violated the no-smoking rule, but the property still reeked and did not appear to have been properly cleaned or fumigated.The kitchen, living room, and dining area looked fine, but the guest bedrooms and closets had several problems. In the front guest room, the sheets felt gritty and showed stains; the nightstand was broken and was only held together by one or two screws. In that room we also found cigar wrappers and tobacco scraps in the dresser and on the floor. The upstairs bathroom’s toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. In the master closet the rack had been pulled off the wall, wires were sticky, and the smoke smell was strong.We notified the owners and sent photos. They promised housekeeping would come, but despite assurances the cleaning was not completed by the next day. Nor the day after. Communication was slow — the owners seem to reside out of state and were not very responsive by phone.If the smoke smell is addressed and the maintenance/cleaning issues fixed, this would be a very nice VRBO. As it stands, I recommend caution — 2 out of 5 stars.
