Peaceful Tipi Retreat on Organic Berry Farm near Taos, New Mexico
The Anasazi Glamping Tipi is located at Taos Goji. The tent is a designed to be more like an upscale camping experience. The Tipi has a queen bed, with bedding and down quilt. Extra guests (max 2) can be accommodated with their own sleeping gear.
This is part of Taos Goji Eco Lodge Retreat & organic goji farm. Nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains it's 11 mile north of Taos and about 25 miles to north Red River and Taos Ski Areas. Ideally located you can still enjoy the mountain views, aspens and cottonwood trees, silence, and bright stars. There are plenty of scenic hikes around,vmountain bike roads, cross country spots, fishing & driving distance to natural hot springs.
The tipi is facing East which overlooks our organic goji berry farm in addition to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
We have 40 acres. You are welcome to walk around the property. Please don’t bring your pet close to our farm animals. All gates have to be closed behind you.
The hot tub and saunas are available for use.
We are a working farm and work Olathe
land. We’re happy to interact and chat with guests,. We live on the property and can be reached by phone and emails about any questions or concerns.
Taos Goji Ecolodge is in San Cristobal, a small village north of Taos with about 200 families. There is easy access to nature, mountains, hiking paths, and rivers. We are 10 miles north of Taos, 5 miles to the closest hot springs, and c:a 25 miles to Red River and Taos Ski Valley.
You can get around San Cristobal on foot, bike or car. There are plenty of hikes in the woods behind San Cristobal.
Cell phone reception is spotty or non-existent in the valley. If you walk or drive up to the ridge the connection is good. Wifi is provided free of charge, but can be intermittent during rain or snow storms. If you have a smart phone you can set your cell phone setting to wificalling
