Welcome to The Steakhouse, a beautiful historic retreat in Crested Butte, Colorado. Nestled on the scenic banks of the Slate River and less than half a mile from the historic downtown area, this unique property blends authentic mountain charm with comfort and style.
Wake up to breathtaking mountain views, then step right outside your door for world-class hiking, biking, or Nordic skiing—no need to drive anywhere. After a day of adventure, unwind in the private hot tub overlooking the river and surrounding peaks, or cozy up inside and soak in the atmosphere of this lovingly preserved historic home. The great room with the woodburning river rock fireplace is a spectacular place to curl up with a good book, watch a movie, or just take in the views of the surrounding mountains and river from the wrap around windows.  Fair warning though, it's hard to concentrate on the puzzle at the game table with so much beauty surrounding the property. 
There are 5 comfy bedrooms, the master suite on the ground floor has a king bed along with a historic en-suite bath featuring a cast iron soaking tub and a separate shower. There is plenty of light from the abundance of windows and even two separate work spaces to catch up on email. The 4 guest bedrooms are all upstairs and consist of a king, a queen, and two double beds that all share two guest bathrooms with pedestal sinks and showers. 
The Steakhouse offers an unforgettable Crested Butte experience: rustic ambiance, incredible views, and unbeatable access to nature and town—all wrapped in the character of a true mountain original.
