"219" is a 1893 Victorian House located on 3 city lots that has been completely renovated in the Fall of 2015. The exterior of the house remains classic, while the interior is new!
The location of this home is unparalleled in downtown Crested Butte. Positioned just one block south of Elk Avenue, visitors can walk out the back gate of the property and take a few short steps to over 30 restaurants and bars. A free Mountain Shuttle stop is an easy block walk for a quick ride up to the mountain base during the summer or winter months making the need for a car optional but unnecessary. Shopping, dining and endless amenities are mere minutes away. You will not believe how close everything is until you experience this location
The 2,500 square foot home has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. All bedrooms have deluxe bedding, down comforters and luxurious linens. The entire home is accented with reclaimed wood beams and reclaimed wood floors. Two spacious living rooms provide able space to entertain and relax with your family and friends. The main living room boasts a gas fireplace, cozy window nook for curling up with a good book and a 55” flat screen TV. The dining table seats 10 people . An open floor plan leads you into a gourmet kitchen containing Wolf and Sub Zero appliances, a farmhouse sink and a pull up bar with seating for 5. As you move through the kitchen you enter a cozy den with a large sectional sofa and a 65” flat screen TV, perfect for a family movie night. The open floor plan complete with Sonos sound system makes this home a wonderful gathering spot no matter what season. In addition, there is a mudroom for all your gear as you walk in the side door from the off street parking, a major bonus in downtown Crested Butte. The house provides 3 off street parking spaces (1 in the driveway and 2 off of the alley in the back) and 1 on street permitted parking space.
A reclaimed wood accented wall graces the downstairs “Jokerville Suite” with its en-suite bathroom. Upstairs you will find three additional bedrooms. The Master Suite has a king bed, reclaimed beams and a barn wood focus wall. The Master Bath has high end finishes including a marble shower, marble counter top and vessel sinks. Another King Bed is found in the ”Gunny Suite” along with a daybed/trundle pull out. Finally the bunk room has 4 extra long twin mattresses, decorated to allow children to bunk up or adults to feel comfortable and luxurious. The large yard provides plenty of places to hang your hammock, play horseshoes in our brand new pit or cook out on the grill while listening to your favorite tunes on the Sonos sound system.
This home was remodeled and decorated to provide the ultimate luxury experience while staying in one of the most beautiful and special places in Colorado!

The property is terrific and well appointed and has the most convenient location in town! Just steps to Elk Ave which is where the restaurants and shops are. Highly recommend this property!
We had a wonderful stay here recently celebrating Christmas with extended family. The house is even better in person than the beautiful photos and was the perfect setup for us. The bunk room for kids/cousins was a hit! Nicely equipped kitchen for cooking. And the location can’t be beat! The owner and her maintenance team were highly responsive when we had a heating issue during our stay and acted quickly to resolve it. We stayed with our newly walking 11 month old and there is a step down to the sunken living room that required constant watchfulness, so it was especially helpful to add on a Baby Quip playpen to contain him. 10/10 recommend!

This charming and beautiful is elegantly appointed with all the details you need for a pleasant visit. The design of the interiors was unexpectedly delightful! The kitchen was equipped better than most homes I've stayed in through VRBO. Definitely recommend!
If you haven't been to CB before this location is ideal-a block from the Main Street (Elk), so easy access without all the traffic.
House is beautifully decorated and plenty of space for friends or family. Great yard and parking for 2-3 cars. Property management is very easy to work with, we will rent again.
Moments from anything in town, this house is the perfect summer/shoulder season CB stay! The house is stunning and so unbelievably comfortable. We were a group of 10 and there was room for all of us to stay and be together without feeling like we were on top of one another. The host and property managers were also so friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
House was perfect for the 3 families (12 people) that stayed there…..excellent location, nice layout, nice finishes. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and the secondary living space for kids worked out great….The only negative (and I’m using that word loosely) is that we thought there would be two parking spaces in rear, but snow wasn’t shoveled, so it was impossible to use or access it, which meant we had to park on street and move cars every single day….not a big deal, but just a small, unexpected hassle. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Yes, unfortunately, the parking can be challenging during the winter with managing the snow and snow plow. We are working on solutions for next year. We hope to host you and your crew again!
I can’t say enough about this property. A stones throw from the local shops and nightlife, short walk to the bus to the mountain, and the space was perfectly appointed from the layout to the design. Truly a gem of a property for friends or family. Cozy, spacious and convenient. A++

House is awesome. Older home that’s been remodeled and super nice and livable. 2 family spaces made it great for us adults with kids. Can walk to about anything in crested butte town. Shuttle to slopes is about a block away. Nice entry area for skiers with built ins. Bunk room was great for kids. Highly recommend

Fabulous Holiday Retreat
I have rented several homes in Crested Butte but this home was by far the best designed, the most comfortable, with an exceptional location. This custom home has it all. Top of the line finishes and décor, not to mention a chef's kitchen. My family and I enjoyed every minute and are already planning a sequel. Thank you Lands for letting us rent your lovely home for Christmas!

Eight of us stayed in this charming, clean, well-maintained, and equipped home in the heart of Crested Butte, with a perfect kitchen and dining living spaces. Maybe a grill could be maintained outside through the winter months. A hot tub would be nice. The king bed facing the street needs a new mattress! Awesome weekend... we'll be back!
It was our first time visiting Crested Butte, we have close friends that live around the corner from this home and were so excited by the proximity then we arrived and realized that even if we were not that close THIS was the perfect place to stay. The kitchen was incredible, the variety in room styles, the bathrooms were incredible. One of our group had a skiing accident on day 1, he broke his leg. That obviously dramatically changed our plans and we ended up spending much more time in the house than we intended, but because the house was so amazing we all had the most amazing time!

Lovely house beautifully appointed
How wonderful to have all that snow, 47 inches on the mountain in the week of our visit. Three generations shared the house and there was lots of space available for everyone, the children enjoyed playing in the snow a lot. We baked cookies and pies, used the slow cooker and generally made ourselves to home in the kitchen. You will find a sled buried in the snow around the house when the melt happens. It was particularly nice to be in 'town' and have the ability to walk everywhere, as well as take the shuttle to the mountain. Thanks for use of your wonderful house.

When we return to Creste butte this will be the only place we will stay at. That speaks volumes because I am very picky. Location is close to downtown; walk out your back gate (alley) and you are there. Wolff appliances (bonus); everything works perfect. The house is built solid and the back yard is amazing.
We absolutely loved the house and hated to leave… best VRBO ever! Have no complaints…
