We booked this trip after last minute changes came due to a hurricane on the gulf coast. We booked Friday night and checked in Saturday evening, and had a 12 hour drive. Everything was great and as expected. We would have loved if the pool stayed open a little later, as it closes at 9p. It just doesn’t give much time to take this kids back to the pool after dinner. Other than that recommendation, we loved it! If we are back in the area, I would stay here again.

Hi Alisha, I am glad we were able to help you enjoy your family vacation despite it being relocated due to the hurricane. We're so happy you had a great stay at Colony Reef Club! Thank you for your recommendation for the outdoor pool but unfortunately due to lighting restrictions for sea turtle nesting we can not keep it open later. We are looking at expanding our indoor pool hours so guests can swim a little longer! Thanks, Natalie D. Rental Manager

Great location and quiet community. Beach access and pool was great! Hopefully the stone table can be fixed by the pool.

Beach Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We Love Colony Reef for staying at the beach. All Condos have a Great View. Response from VrboOwner on 23 Oct 2024
Hi Thomas, Thanks for your feedback about the cleaning. We had a sold out summer and are currently scheduling the condos in October for Deep Cleans. Our cleaning crew will always make it right and come back to address any items that are not up to CRC standard if you let the office staff know. Thanks, Natalie D.

Annual beach vacation

There were multiple issues with the condo upon check in we had no wi fi for two days the garbage disposal had a piece of plastic in it so we had to get that addressed The back porch was nice however we could not use it every time you closed the sliding door you would be locked out of the condo There were also roaches in the condo and I have never seen that issue before at this property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fabulous week with family from San Diego, and Cheyenne, Wy. the condo was lovely and very clean. We have neen coming to Colony Reef for nearly 30 years. The only recommendation the older grandchildren would have liked the pool to stay open until 10pm 8:30-9 was a little short.

Beverly, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We understand the pool closing earlier can be a little frustrating, but we thank you for your understanding as we close the pool earlier to help protect Florida's endangered wildlife. Colony Reef Club Reservation Team

Cleanliness really counts

The outdoor deck, pool and beach access made this worth it. More time should be spent making sure things are really clean. One toilet still had waded up paper in it. Bedspread and two blankets and drawers of dressers had unpleasant odors. Kitchen was nice but other aspects could use some cleaning and updating.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your feedback and we're glad you enjoyed the beach and pool. Next time if you find something that is not up to standards please let us know ASAP and we will send a cleaner back to make it right. We have addressed the bedspreads and blankets, and followed up with the cleaner to make sure items are not missed moving forward. Thanks, Natalie D.

Our family of 4, including 2 teens, enjoyed our week-long stay at CRC. The condo was perfect. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach. The rotating schedule of food trucks was a bonus.

Multiple time visitor to Colony Reed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful unit (2209) with a few snags (main bed said it was a queen, but it felt small, disposal barely worked). Staff seem willing to help, but you need to ASK! Again, nothing major, but what time does the indoor pool close, did you know they’ll lend sports equipment? Some of this may have been communicated, but I’m not sure where. Part of the issue may be that we checked in after hours. Also, I learned a staff member had a heart attack, so they were short staffed. Also, our WiFi password info wasn’t posted and it went out mid stay. Not a huge issue, but a hassle to have to call or walk to the office.

Convenient Condo

This is our 2nd time staying at Colony Reef Club. As before, we were very happy with our stay. Only one suggestion: * Luggage racks would be appreciated so we don't have to put dirty suitcases on clean bed. Thank you!
