This home was wildly unique -- exactly what we were hoping for in a home rental experience during our family visit to Los Angeles! The bold design, decor, and expansive views initially drew us in and were as impressive in person as they were online. The master bedroom on the top floor, with its sliding glass walls, balcony, and multi-featured shower, was a personal favorite! We enjoyed the pool, game room and other amenities -- not to mention the proximity to many of the tourist sights we had on our itinerary. We were 15 minutes from Universal Studios and within 30 minutes drive of nearly everything else we wanted to visit. This home isn't walking distance to shops and cafes, exactly, but some of our party did enjoy the 2-mile roundtrip walk along the windy canyon roads to the Beachwood cafe each morning. And the location was a quiet respite from the cars and busy-ness of the rest of LA. Our host, Bella, excelled in her responsiveness to my questions from the moment I booked through to checkout. Then she proactively solicited feedback on how she could improve on the guest experience for future guests. Her instructions for checking in and out made for an easy arrival and departure. My only note of caution is that there are a significant number of stairs to climb in using this house, especially for those staying in the master bedroom. We rather liked the exercise, but others may want to keep that in mind. Overall, I highly recommend this home to others visiting LA!
