Don’t be deceived by your first impression—if you arrive at night, the block might feel a little sketchy at first. Give it a chance. Once you walk around the corner, you’ll realize you’re actually staying in a really trendy, lively neighborhood.Prince met us downstairs, helped us get checked in, and made sure we were fully settled. He even came back later that evening to help us figure out the TV, which we really appreciated. On top of that, he recommended a local carnival event that ended up being such a fun highlight of our trip. The only downside was the windows on windy nights—the building seems to create a strong draft, which caused them to rattle pretty loudly.Overall, a great stay with an incredibly helpful host and a location that surprises you in the best way.
