House was gorgeous! Had all the amenities we needed for a perfect stay. Our group could walk from the house to the art festival and all the unique shops. Lots of room to play cards, watch tv and relax.

This house is really well kept and a great location. We came to town with a few friends for Big Turn Music Festival. It was about 1/2 mile walk into town for the shows. Everyone has a great bedroom space and a nice open kitchen and dining room make it really easy to spend time. Loved the fireplace and the sun porch for relaxing as well. Will definitely book this place again.

An excellent place from which to experience Red Wing.

Well-maintained older home, with very nicely appointed interiors and furnishings. Walkable to just about anywhere close in. Overall, perfect for our group.

Family wedding weekend

Our family stay in Red Wing for a family wedding was wonderful. The Franklin Cottage was a great location in proximity to the St. James Hotel. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, the kitchen was well appointed and the gathering areas were ideal for our family of 6. World definitely recommend!

This was just what our family needed for the weekend of our daughter's wedding. A lovely home! We enjoyed our stay in Red Wing and want to go back when we have more time to explore the town. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

We loved this property - worked perfectly for five of us ladies for our annual college friends weekend. We enjoyed the sunroom for morning coffee and evening wine and conversation! The house had everything we needed and then some! :) Thanks for everything!

Sweet Stay

This getaway was awesome. Visiting Redwing for a wedding and the location was perfect. Easy walking distance to downtown. The house was adorable & VERY private at end of the street. Highly recommend!

Girls Trip

A few friends and I stayed here to surprise another friend who just got married, we hadn’t seen each other in two years and this place was perfect for spending time with each other but also giving us our own space. The house has an old charm to it and is beautifully decorated.

Lovely house

This is the second time we have stayed in this house. It is in a great location, is large enough for our group, and has all the amenities we need. Host sent very clear instructions regarding expectations for guests.

Girls Weekend!

This is our second time staying here and we love it! Plenty of space for the five of us. Short drive to shopping and restaurants. We park and walk around the entire day. The house has everything you need and more. Great communication with the property manager. Comfy beds and lots of extra blankets. We will stay again when in Red Wing!

Great location

This property was perfect for our planned activities! We were able to walk to our hiking destination, shopping and restaurants! Red Wing is such a quaint little town! The house is well stocked with all the things you might need. Instructions were easy to understand and very helpful. Communication was very prompt. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the sunroom for our morning coffee and our evening wine/ game playing!

Comforting Home

The beds were comfy, the closets spacious. The kitchen clean and well appointed. The living room with the fireplace, the porch with comfy couches and windows to delight in the color of the leaves on the adjacent bluff made for a perfect place for comforting conversations with friends as we met again after many years. Would definitely recommend to all my friends!

A Red Wing gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Franklin Cottage. The location is great—walking distance to Main Street shops and restaurant. The home itself was spacious and comfortable. We had no want of anything. The kitchen is amply supplied—probably the best of any rental at which I’ve stayed. The beds were comfortable. The shower in the primary bedroom had great water pressure and heated up quickly. The whole place was clean and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.
