About this property
Newly Remodeled Riverfront Cabin – Kayaks, Sunset Views & Northwoods Charm
This beautifully updated 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin offers an open layout designed for comfort and privacy — the bedrooms don’t share walls, making it perfect for families or friends. Inside, you’ll find new appliances (including a washer and dryer), a Smart TV, and even a fun icee/slushy maker for summer treats.
Step outside to enjoy 220 feet of frontage on the Wisconsin River, along a peaceful 6-mile stretch between Grandmother and Grandfather Falls. The west-facing view means you’ll catch stunning sunsets and afternoon sunshine right from the dock. Known for great fishing, this calm section of the river is home to smallmouth bass, walleye, and northern — and it’s gentle enough for beginner kayakers.
The cabin includes three kayaks, a lily pad, small inflatables, a 30-foot private dock, basic fishing gear, a hammock, swing by the water, fire pit, and charcoal grill. There’s even a small lagoon that’s perfect for catching frogs in summer or ice skating in winter (weather permitting).
For hiking enthusiasts, the Grandfather Falls segment of the Ice Age Trail is just three miles south on Highway 107 — offering scenic trails and a close-up view of the river’s beautiful rapids.
We’ll start you off with basic supplies such as a few rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, and paper towels. To make your stay more enjoyable, we recommend stocking up on groceries and any extra provisions on your way in so you can relax right away.

About the host
Hosted by Wild Rivers Property Managment
I’m part of a family of four — my husband, our two sons, and me. I grew up in the country, while he’s always been more of a city person. Our cabin is where those two worlds meet — a place to reconnect with nature, adventure, and the outdoors while still enjoying modern comforts. We love sharing these experiences with our boys and hope our guests find the same peace and joy in the Northwoods that we do.
