Unplug, unwind, and breathe in the crisp Colorado mountain air at this charming 2BR/1BA cabin! Just 20 min from Idaho Springs and an hour from world-class ski resorts. Enjoy a wood-burning fireplace, secluded backyard, St. Mary’s Glacier, and nearby private lakes perfect for fishing and paddling. Mountain bikers will love the Mighty Argo Cable Car, with bike racks on the gondolas for easy trail access. Best of all, we’re pet friendly!

The cabin has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and one full bathroom with a tub/shower. The living area features a wood-burning stove, perfect for cozy evenings after a day outdoors.

The bathroom and kitchen have heated floors for added comfort, especially during the colder months. Out back, you’ll find a cedar deck and a private backyard—great for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing after a day of exploring.

The cabin is spacious and well stocked for cooking and relaxation. We enjoyed several hikes in the area and chill evenings on the back deck. The hosts were responsive to any questions that we had. Was a great spot with our dog too!We had an amazing stay at the cozy mountain cabin.

BEWARE!!! Host ghosted us at check in for our 5 night stay leaving us stranded during a holiday weekend. Reservations were made over a month prior, this was not a last minute booking. USE EXTREME CAUTION!

We sincerely apologize for this experience and take full responsibility for the check-in failure. Our check-in arrangements fell through, and we failed to ensure the guest had access to the cabin. This was unacceptable, and we understand the frustration it caused. Since then, we’ve improved our process with automated guest communications, a Wi-Fi-enabled door lock, and direct management of all check-ins. We regret that this guest never had the opportunity to experience the cabin, and we remain committed to providing every guest with a smooth check-in and a great stay. We feel we have a wonderful cabin and think the other reviews we have illustrate that, and we wish you would have had the opportunity to experience it.

This is the kind of place and host that people dream about. From quick communication to going the extra mile, my stay here was as good as it gets. I had booked this location as it is close to St. Mary's Glacier, where I proposed to my girlfriend. It was about a 30-40 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to the trailhead. We both absolutely loved the location, the scenery, and the vibes of the cabin. If I could give this place a rating, it certainly is deserving of more than just the 5 star max. There was a binder with all sorts of information, from local cuisine to instructions for controlling just about anything in the house. Having told the host about my plans, they went the extra mile to leave a present for us while we were hiking. Truly, I have nothing but amazing things to say, and I couldn't have asked for a better location for such a special moment. Huge thank you to the host, and for anyone reading this, it is certainly worth it.

We had an excellent stay at Stian's cabin! The property is spotless and has everything you'd need for a great stay. The woods are beautiful out the back windows and there are multiple close hiking options. The area is quiet and we thought the cabin was better than the pictures! The host's communication was far above average. Stay here!
