We are very surprised to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay. We offered to send pest service out as soon as you contacted us about the ants. You declined as you stated "they went away". No other issues were brought to our attention while speaking with you. We do everything possible to address any issues right away to make everyone's stay enjoyable. I really wish you would have let us know as we would have done something about it or offered other solutions. Furthermore, I'm not sure what was a "corroded mess". You certainly did not elaborate. For anyone reading this review, Please take into account that this is the very first 1-star review we have ever received. For that matter, please note that ALL of our other reviews are 4 and 5 stars. We were informed of the ants in the kitchen and we immediately offered to send our pest control company out (all of our houses, including this one, are on a quarterly pest control plan). The next morning around 8:00 am, the guests stated that they had not seen another ant since the night before and asked us NOT to send pest control, so we honored their wishes. Things can happen at a beach house. But we always respond immediately to take care of any issues. We never heard another peep from these folks. To call this house "a dump" is a horrible exaggeration, and frankly, is just malicious. Again, please read all of our other reviews as well.
