Horseneck and Demarest Lloyd State beaches as well as Dartmouth Beaches are close by. Walk into the village to enjoy vibrant restaurants, shops, New Bedford Yacht Club, marinas and waterfront services including boat and kayak rentals. Short drive to the many galleries and artist studios, vineyards and breweries in the south coast area. Spend the day exploring New Bedford's Whaling Museum and maritime history. Check out local charter fishing or take the ferry to the islands for a day. Enjoy abundant fresh local produce, meats, seafood, eggs and milk and many farmers markets. We spent2018-19 sailing up and down the east coast on our sailboat Sirena. 2020 will find us cruising the new england coastal waters and look we look forward to sharing our home with visitors who enjoy the ocean as much as we do.
