Nestled in the heart of Portland’s east side, this private garden guest suite in the Laurelhurst neighborhood offers a peaceful, light-filled retreat with easy access to the city. The space features thoughtful decor, a full-size bed with deluxe pillows, a newly installed A/C and heater, and a compact but well-equipped kitchen with an induction burner, microwave, air fryer, Chemex with provided coffee, teas, and basic cooking staples. The studio opens directly onto a lush shared backyard, with your own little patio. This cozy rental offers plenty of privacy and everything needed for a weekend getaway or month-long stay.

I live in the main house and am available if you need anything, while giving you as much space as you prefer. You may also meet Rosie, my friendly 80-lb dog; if you’re bringing a pet, please let me know their needs so introductions can go smoothly. Enjoy a calm, comfortable, and conveniently located home base for your Portland stay.

Nice little apartment with a kind host. Easy to check in and out of. Great spot if you’re looking to stay near the Kerns area with lots to see and do whether you’re walking or driving.

The space was perfect for what I needed! Solo traveling with a cat; a very easy to get comfortable place, easy street parking, and very peaceful. My cat really enjoyed the space as well (got comfortable pretty quickly, didn’t hide). Would highly recommend for solo travelers!!

A lovely, cozy home base during our trip to Portland. My 6 year old daughter, dog and I had a nice stay, with an especially warm welcome from the two kids who live in the main house part-time (built in friends for my kiddo!). Spent a lot of time in the garden, which was sweet at night with the string lights and solar lanterns. The space itself is small but livable for a few days’ time.

Clean, charming, safe, beautiful, convenient and peaceful place to stay! Because there is no laundry I’d say not suitable for more than a week but really lovely for a few days! It’s incredibly convenient to Kerns dining and New Seasons, both of which I very much appreciated. As a single female traveler, I also enjoyed how safe it felt. The decor was lovely and there appears to be a high quality hair dryer available to use as well as nice linens and reliable WiFi.

Affordable quaint cottage - perfect for a couple. Very very clean. Beautiful modern bathroom, comfortable bed, cutest little kitchen you’ll ever see. Great neighborhood. Attentive owners. We will be going back!
