The location is fantastic: Fort Bragg is the gateway to the California Coastal National Monument, meaning you'll explore sand dunes, go whale watching, and collect sea shells along the untouched coastline. MacKerricher State Park and Lake Cleone are within walking distance of this cozy abode, and antique shopping, fine dining, and family fun centers are just a seven minute drive away making it the perfect location for your next family vacation!



The 1,700 square-foot home is bright and cheery offering an open-concept living room with a sofa and new dining table for six. Family board games, and a game room with a Ping-Pong table and Roku TV in the garage mean you'll never get cabin fever, and wireless Internet access allows you to stay plugged in when needed!



A full, newly remodeled, well-stocked kitchen and oversized island makes it easy to prepare meals for a large group. There are three bedrooms and two full baths in this single-level home: the master bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, and work desk, a second has a queen, and an additional bedroom has two twin-sized beds for little guests.



Outside, you'll count shooting stars around the ornate iron bonfire pit, lounge in Adirondack patio furniture, or serve up a mean game of badminton. And with handicap and elder access, and private washer and dryers, this home is the perfect getaway for long days at the beach, and cozy late nights in good company.



For a day out and about, visit Mendocino Botanical Gardens, watch the seals at MacKerricher State Park or make the trip into town for fine sea food, and quaint antique shops.

This house is in a nice location , directly across the street from a beautiful beach , large lot and quiet neighborhood, if you happen to go to Ft. Bragg , Ca this is a great place to stay if you're looking for a house

This house was beautiful! We loved the kitchen tiles and the open area. The rooms were very comfortable. The yard with the fire pits was another plus. We saw a family of deer in the mornings out front. We would love to stay here again.

It was a great stay at this house. Our group of 6 mature adults stayed and slept here comfortably. Able to cook our food. Well supplies in the kitchen. No issues but just enjoyed our stay and our bonding.

I love cleone. This was a perfect home for my lifelong friend and myself and our boys. Beds were comfortable house was good. Just a little disappointed the fire pit out back didnt work. Lived being able to hear the ocean waves at night. Will definitely be back!

Had a lovely stay. Couple of things to note for you: Hall bathroom sink does not drain well Duvet cover in Queen bedroom has a stain on it Propane tank that is currently on the bbq does not work well You might want to change hummingbird feeders. They look pretty old and can actually make birds sick. Window jams are a little dirty. Thank you!

definitely kid friendly

Having all the games, puzzles and toys stored where they are was not what we wanted to look at in the living room. Put that stuff in the game room garage. Some instructions for the TV would have been great as we spent most of the time trying to figure out how to watch it! Same for the fire pit! Front door lock needs some directions also. Perhaps, a deep cleaning is due.

Nice overall property. Bedbugs trash

Since 2004 my buddies and I have rented a house for 4 days every year. The prices have been increased, even this year from last year. With no added benefit. Price is not really the problem. Three of us woke up the next morning with bedbug bites. The sheets and bath towels felt nasty. We went and bought our own sheets and towels after the first night. The trash cans where completely stuffed when we got their. The instructions say to take the trash out to the street on Monday. Well every trash can was heaping over and trash on the ground when we showed up on a Friday. We took our trash with us. Your welcome. This is the second time we stayed in this house and I will not be returning.

Poor communication with Vacasa & VRBO

I canceled the reservation 8 days prior due to my and my husband’s Covid-19 positive illness. No one cancelled the reservation properly despite consistent communication on my part. I kept receiving emails and text messages to my cell phone. The insurance I paid will not refund our monies even though I submitted all documentation. I will call the Better Business Bureau to report this poor communication and lack of interfacing of VRBO & VACASA. One word terrible experience especially since we were doing the right thing.

Family friendly beach stay

Our family of four loved our stay here. The house was very clean and spacious for two adults and two kids. Even a family of six would have plenty of room. The ping pong table in the garage and fire pit out back were both hits with our boys of (ages 7 and 11). You can see ocean from front porch and it's a 2-minute drive into McKerricher State Park. Downtown Ft. Bragg is approx. 5 minutes away. The place is clean and everything worked well. We left quite happy.

This house was the perfect location for our day trip adventures! The house stocked with everything we needed from utensils, to BBQ, to games. We enjoyed our stay!

Some of the amenities were not available. We had to buy batteries for the tv remote in the living room, the tv in the master did it function. In the ad it showed a couch in the garage which was not there. Some of the dishes had to be washed before we used them. The heating was a little outdated. The wall heater worked, but did not circulate to all the rooms, the owner provided fans to push the heat to the others rooms. Overall a great location. Great place, just a few hiccups. The check in process was amazing, super simple, easy, quick.

Great location.

House is in great location, near beach, downtown, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and yard is beautiful. House was big with a nice but older kitchen. However, it needs a good deep clean and one bedroom was not really usable due to intense smell of some fragrance or cleaning solution. Would stay again if these issues were addressed.

Relaxing safe weekend getaway during Covid

We enjoyed playing games like headbandz outside around the fire pit. Curtains in the master bedroom need to be fixed as they were no longer hanging up. We used a blanket to block out the light so our kids could nap. But the master bed was super comfy and the games provided were awesome for our kids!

Cozy house - great place for friends or families

Great property with a very well thought of labeling for guests. Included all instructions, did not need to get in touch with the owner even once. Cozy and warm place. The heaters needed some adjustments since the bedrooms remained cool while the living room heated up. Apart from that, great location and backyard. Would definitely recommend!
