Gorgeous home with a pretty lake view. There are a lot of steps down to the water, though.

Thank you for your kind words! We’re so glad you enjoyed the home and lake view. For future guests, we do want to note that the listing photos clearly show the sloped lot and stair access to the water, as lakefront homes in this area often have varying terrain. That said, we always encourage guests to review photos carefully and reach out with any questions to make sure the property is the right fit for their needs. We appreciate you staying with us!

If you’re looking for a place that has thought of everything, look no more! From the moment we walked through the door until the morning we left, we couldn’t stop talking about how much we were happy with the house. It’s very clean, the kitchen has everything you could need to cook a fabulous dinner. The master bathroom is the stuff dreams are made of, large shower, huge double vanity, and a great soaking tub! Comfortable beds in large bedrooms. The sofa in the living room is so comfortable our daughter fell asleep on it one night. The deck has a great view of the lake, excellent for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a nice beer in the evening. The sunset views were breathtaking. The dock area was also nice, though we didn’t spend much time down there as we were busy touring the Clemson campus. We can’t wait to stay again!

The house was well appointed. Kitchen had all the essentials. It was a hike to the dock but we knew that beforehand. Trash wasn't taken out before we got there but property was conveniently located near our friends. House advertised as pet friendly and they clearly had pets but property management company did not disclose an additional pet fee was required until after booking. Then updated website to disclose a fee after I complained. Unfortunately VrBO didn’t back us up. Either way we had a nice time despite the poor weather that weekend.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the home, found the kitchen well stocked, and were able to spend time with friends nearby despite the less-than-ideal weather. We apologize that the trash had not been removed prior to your arrival. This has been addressed with our team, as we understand how important a clean and welcoming first impression is. Regarding the pet fee, we understand your concerns. Our pet fee is a standard charge for guests traveling with pets, and we have continued working to make that information as visible and transparent as possible throughout the booking process. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve communication for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us, and we're happy to hear you had a nice overall experience. We hope to welcome you back for a future visit with better weather and more time to enjoy the lake.

This house has everything you could need. The kitchen is spacious with every cooking tool imaginable (air fryer, crock pot, roasting pans, plenty of pots, pans, baking sheets, knives, utensils, cooking tools, everything). The bathrooms and laundry area also had more than expected. There are games and beach towels, plenty of seating and space for everyone. There ARE 107 steps down to the dock.. (and back up). But once you are there with some snacks, you have everything you need. Chair floats, noodles, kayaks, extra floats. We fished and swam every day and had a lovely time.

The home is very well designed and comfortable. The living area is open and can comfortably fit a large group. The location on the lake is excellent. It is a little bit of a hike to grocery stores but that’s a plus for me. I prefer the quiet seclusion versus the proximity to stores. Played golf at Chickasaw Point. The course is in excellent condition and fun to play.
