Great stay!

We really enjoyed not having a huge hill to walk up and down to the water. House was clean. Easy in and out. Location to boat ramp was great. Would stay again.

Great loction, clean, nice outdoor area. Plenty of room for family. However the stairs are difficult for older adults and pets. Also the dock is difficult to park your boat due to jet ski lifts on both sides and boat lift in slip.

Hi Barbara, we're glad to hear you enjoyed the location, cleanliness, outdoor space, and that the home had plenty of room for your family. The homeowner would like to address the concerns you mentioned:- The listing does note that the home includes both exterior steps and a flight of stairs to access the lower-level living area, which may be challenging for guests with limited mobility.- The boat slip has jet ski ramps on either side, but they do not impede parking a boat in the slip. The lift can be lowered for docking, and we’re happy to assist if guests need help operating it.Thank you for letting us know about your stay.

Beautiful lake view, perfect set up!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is so light-filled with beautiful lake views. The dock was a perfect set up for our boat. The basement area was wonderful for the teenage girls to camp out separately from adults. We hope to come back again and again.

Spacious, nicely appointed home on a beautiful lakefront peninsula. Great bedroom furnishings, plenty of living space for different groups to spread out and have privacy, and ample parking. Host was very communicative and very helpful addressing anything that came up during our stay.

Happy Place!

Great property, great views, great place to be with friends and family! We fished, we boated and enjoyed 2 wonderful meals at the Portman Marina around the bend! We had a friendly Heron who frequented the cove and the neighbors cat stopped by when we were cooking out, but he was busy so he didn't stay long!

Southern hospitality at its finest!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our son’s graduation. Clemson was only about 30 minutes away. The house was exactly what we needed to hold our family and it felt like a home away from home! The owner was very accommodating and made sure we could contact her or her housekeeper if we needed anything. The dock was great for hanging out and launching our paddleboards that we brought. We also enjoyed the fire pit and bbq. Would definitely stay again if back in the area!

Thank you so much for this lovely review, Shannon! It was such a pleasure hosting your family during your son’s graduation celebration, what a special milestone to celebrate! I’m thrilled that the house felt like a home away from home for your group and that the location worked perfectly for your Clemson festivities. It sounds like you made great use of all the outdoor amenities, the dock, fire pit, and BBQ grill are definitely guest favorites, and I love that you brought your own paddle-boards to enjoy on the water! Those are the kinds of memories that make hosting so rewarding for me. I’m so glad my housekeeper and I were able to provide the support you needed during your stay. Your family would be welcome back anytime, it would be wonderful to host you again in the future! Congratulations to your son on his graduation, and thank you again for choosing our home for such an important family celebration!
