The Space:

Welcome to your retreat by the creek! This family-friendly home is full of places to kick back and relax after a fun day, including a private firepit and hot tub! The private hot tub is covered, so you can soak in comfort. Spend quality time together on the lovingly furnished deck (equipped with an outdoor wood-burning fireplace), and grill up something tasty on the private gas grill. The full kitchen inside features helpful full-size appliances, as well as a helpful prep island that doubles as a breakfast bar with room for four guests. Enjoy one of the provided board games in the living room before heading up to bed. Every bedroom has a private entrance to a bathroom, so there will be no late-night worries. Come spend time together at this lovely home.

Wonderful stay in well-maintained and peaceful house

The pictures are fabulous and the house is even better in real life! Huge kitchen with new appliances, comfy and quiet bedrooms and a very cozy living room. We loved the outdoor jacuzzi and laundry room. House is in a nice neighborhood 1/2 mile from the beach with a little creek in the back yard. Would definitely stay there again!

Tucked in at Rockaway Beach

This Vacasa Property has everything and more. It’s clean, well organized and very comfortable for a family getaway. Rockaway Beach is a 15 minute walk away, you can stop to get a coffee on the way. The covered hot tub & backyard fire place we’re great for rainy nights. I recommend this property.

Super fun getaway

Great house and property. Interior was very clean and well stocked, with comfy beds and lots of room. Yard was beautiful and very relaxing with the hammocks and hot tub. Had 3 kids and the grandparents with us and we all enjoyed the house and proximity to the beach. Easy walking distance to beach and shops. Quiet neighborhood as well with lots of wildlife. Highly recommend!

Amazing house, location, covered deck was fantastic on a rainy weekend and so was the hot tub. What really made this house special was the small creek running right behind the house and going to sleep at night to the sounds of babbling water. The grass needed to be mowed in order to use the fire pit, but overall, this was a perfect spot!

Lovely property but not perfect

We loved the home, surroundings, and amenities, however the king bed mattress was soft and lumpy and we woke with back ache every morning. We couldn’t get the drip coffee machine to work, many of the dishes were dirty (cutlery, pans) and there were insufficient cleaning supplies (kitchen cloth for wiping counters, scrubby to hand wash dishes). We tried to bbq on our last night but it seems the propane tank is running out of gas because the food was nowhere near cooked after half an hour so we had to use the oven grill. Pretty annoying to have to deal with hassles while on vacation. I expected more attention to detail considering the price we paid for our stay.

Arrived after a 3 keg party

This would have been a fantastic stay, except that we had arrived hours after around 30 kids held a 3 keg party at the house. The cleaners did a great job of getting the house clean and presentable, but we had to keep the windows open for 24 hours to air it out. Basically afraid of every surface in the bedding, bathrooms, couches, kitchen. Couldn't use the BBQ because it was covered in cheese and grease. Hot tub was clean (they drained it and cleaned it that day) but it was basically broken- water wouldn't get hot and the water was about 50% chlorine. This honestly was a very nice house and perfect for 2 small families, but we just got incredibly unlucky in booking the night after a "rager". Really too bad.

Great location, not clean

Great location for proximity to Rockaway, Nahlem, and other towns nearby. A short drive to Cannon Beach as well. Upon arrival we found a dirty glass by the tub, glass on the floor in an upstairs bedroom with bottle cap, hair on bedsheets/floor, a hole in a shower/door doesn’t work well, etc. Needless to say there is no way the place was cleaned. We were told at noon we were even ready for an early check-in. There is no way that in under 2 hours it was cleaned and still looks that way. Also communication regarding this matter was never really resolved. We talked to one person that said they would get back to us, never did. Pets are allowed but carpet cleaning is needed when pets have been there as there are stains on the carpet. Linens that don’t look soiled would go a long way and a deep cleaning to make this rentable for the cost. If a clean house doesn’t bother you then this is the place to stay.
