A four-bedroom beachfront villa on Playa Bluff, Isla Colón, reserved exclusively for your group. Conchy Tonk sleeps nine across four ensuite bedrooms, with a private pool set in a tropical garden and the sand a few steps beyond the gate.

Wake to the sound of the surf and the calls of howler monkeys, spend the day on kilometres of almost empty golden sand, and return to the pool in the afternoon. The house suits families travelling together, groups of friends, surf travellers, and anyone working remotely who needs space and a reliable connection.

★★ PLAYA BLUFF AND THE SURROUNDING AREA ★★
- Playa Bluff begins a few steps beyond the gate. Only Bluff Road, a narrow gravel lane, and a line of coconut palms separate the garden from the sand, and the beach is visible and audible from the property. Beyond it lie kilometres of golden sand on the northeast coast of Isla Colón, backed by jungle, and one of the finest surf and bodyboarding beaches in Panama. The wave breaks directly in front of the house, and Paunch Beach nearby offers gentler conditions for beginners.
- Sea turtles nest along Bluff Beach in season. The stretch is a protected conservation area, and the house was known as Turtle Beach House for many years before becoming Conchy Tonk.
- Bocas Town is roughly thirty minutes by road, with restaurants, shops, dive operators and boat tours. Snorkeling in Bocas del Toro, mangrove kayaking and island-hopping trips all depart from there.

- Taxis and a local bus ($3 per person each way) run daily. We recommend renting a car or e-bikes, or arranging transport in advance, which makes the island getaway considerably easier.

★★ BEFORE YOU BOOK ★★
A few things worth knowing in advance.
- Bluff Beach has powerful waves, strong currents and shore break, and there are no lifeguards. It is not always suitable for swimming. Please swim only in calm conditions, and use the pool when the ocean is rough.
- The house is connected to the electrical grid and has solar backup. Brief outages can occur during storms.
- Starlink speeds vary with weather and vegetation. The connection is well suited to browsing, calls and remote work, though not comparable to urban fibre.
- The property is surrounded by jungle and beachfront nature, so insects, wildlife and tropical weather are part of the experience. We recommend insect repellent, sun protection, lightweight long sleeves and a dry bag. Coconut oil is used locally for chitras (no-see-ums) and is available in town.
- The road to Bluff is accessible year-round, though slower after heavy rain.
- There is no washing machine and no television. Three exterior security cameras cover the property (two at the front, one at the rear), and there is no carbon monoxide detector.
