I had such a wonderful stay at Susan and Silverio’s unique straw-bale casita! The home was cozy, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect—close to downtown Phoenix, restaurants, entertainment, and within walking distance of Chase Field which is where I visited on this trip. Susan suggested taking a Waymo and it was…super fun! Susan was warm, thoughtful, an accommodating host and she even kindly offered a late checkout, which i truly appreciated. I felt right at home and would happily stay here again. Thank you both for your wonderful hospitality!

The house was clean and well appointed as advertised but the area should be described a little better. I felt quite safe but the home is right under the flight path for the airport so the planes flying over are loud. One night the neighbors were also playing loud music quite late. There's nothing that can be done about these things and the home was indeed quite nice. The host was excellent with communication but folks should know about the potential for noise.

We really loved our stay here. The casita was roomy, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hosts were super helpful when we arrived, which made settling in easy. We actually spent a whole day just hanging out because the space was so comfortable. Lots of storage, safe gated parking right next to the unit, and a great location close to tons of spots. Will be staying here again.

We loved the strawbale house!It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also very charming with a lot of creative touches. We were there for a show at the Mortgage Center and it was close to the venue. The hosts are lovely people, kind and friendly without being at all intrusive. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Very much enjoyed the tranquility of this Vrbo. It is near downtown so can be a little noisy but the landscaping is a joy to experience and the strawbale home is very comfortable and inviting. Superb hosts. Highly recommend.

This place is so unique and interesting with a very cool history. The casita is exactly as displayed in the photos. We booked a last minute trip which is not our norm and Susan was so very accommodating and communicative despite being out of the country herself. The place is cozy and comfortable and an easy in and out from the airport. We would definitely book here again.

Susan and her husband were very kind and emphasized reaching out to them if there was anything that I needed. The casita was perfect for my stay to attend an expo at the conference center. I prefer having a kitchen to prepare my own food due to having celiac disease and the full size refrigerator, infection stove top and oversized microwave oven made it easy. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, flatware, pans, and common seasonings and oil. A huge bonus was that my stay was half the price of hotels! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was beautiful 1 like a spa!
