New Years in Blue Ridge

Amazing cabin to ring in the new year! Standout Rentals was great and very attentive to details and responsiveness. The cabin was still decorated from Christmas which made it feel very warm and cozy. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property for a stay.

This VRBO felt like home from the minute we entered. All the living spaces were well decorated and planned out with plenty of room for our party of four adults to spread out in complete comfort. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were well stocked for guests’ enjoyment with a focus on cleanliness and organization. I don’t think there was one thing we needed while we were there that the owners had not already anticipated and provided. Our group loves our morning coffee and we were thrilled that the kitchen was stocked with several types of coffee makers to suit any style of brewing. We did not use the loft bedroom, but if you plan to do so just note that the stairs go straight up almost as if you’re climbing a ladder. We loved the screened-in porch, the hot tub, the wind in the trees and all the birds singing in the morning. Deer were everywhere and we saw a family of armadillos digging in the hillside close to the property. Fireflies showed up right at dusk every evening, much to our delight. The roads leading to the property are mostly paved with the last turn or two to the cottage being the most tricky. We had an all-wheel-drive SUV and had no issues. The property management group was knowledgeable and caring, responding to inquiries or concerns within minutes. We spent two weeks here and we all agree this home has set a very high bar for our future VRBO rentals to overcome.
