We had a great weekend away. The cabin was clean, cute and adequately stocked. The area is full of great weekend activities. Would recommend to other visitors!
It's a wonderful home to rent 20 min away from Berkeley Springs, WV, with an amazing mountain view and serene woods all around the house. Very private and cozy. The host offered great communication, very accurate description of the property, helpful information and instructions for check in and check out. We went hiking in Cacapon Park and by C&O canal, kayaking on the Sleepy Creek Lake, explored Berkeley Springs, WV, and Cumberland, MD.
Absolutely Perfect Getaway! We had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin! The location is delightfully secluded and peaceful, and the cabin itself was immaculate and equipped with absolutely everything we needed to keep us and our dogs perfectly comfortable. Our favorite part of the trip was spending the evenings relaxing by the fire pit. Lara was a fantastic host who communicated everything clearly from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to stay here again!

Thank you for sharing your experience and photos from your stay - including the beautiful colorful sunset you captured! We're so glad you and your pups had the perfect getaway.
This cabin was everything that we needed and then some. It was cozy, peaceful, romantic and exciting. The fact that it is pet friendly, with a fenced in yard was the icing on the cake. Lara our host was more than accommodating, friendly and very good with communicating with us.

We're so thrilled you had the cozy getaway you were looking for, and love the photos you shared from your trip!!! Thanks for staying at our cabin!
This cabin is cozy, immaculate , and relaxing. The hosts have gone to great lengths to make this comfortable and have given a lot of thought to the amenities. The highlights that made it so special were not only the amazing view from the dramatic huge A frame window, but the outside landscaping and privacy of the five acres made it spectacular. And the lighted trees at night surrounding the fire pit were in unexpected surprise. Our dog loved running freely. We spent a quiet delightful week there, and cannot wait to return. Our owner, Lara, was most helpful and responsive.
The cabin exceeded our expectations! The space is cozy and very dog friendly. Lara has thought of everything - firewood, dog bowls & clean up bags, stocked keurig w/ creamer, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, spare toothbrushes and a brita filter. We also appreciated the proximity to Cacapon State Park. This my 5th time visiting Berkeley Springs and this is the best property I’ve rented. I plan to return!

Wow! We're thrilled that our cabin stood out to a Berkeley Springs "regular" :) We hope you'll stay here again - we've added a fenced yard to make it even more comfortable for pups and their humans!
We had such a wonderful and relaxing getaway here. From the moment we walked in, the home felt warm, cozy, and inviting—truly like a home away from home. We especially loved ending each evening around the fire pit (with plenty of wood provided), taking in the incredible views and watching the sunset. It was such a treat. We cooked dinner every night, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The couch was incredibly comfortable for cozy movie nights, which made the experience even more relaxing. Our dog absolutely loved the open space to run around and settled in peacefully each night right along with us. I can only imagine how beautiful this property must be in every season—especially in the fall and spring. This was a truly peaceful, beautiful weekend, and we would highly recommend staying here. It genuinely feels like home.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and heartfelt review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at our cabin :)
We are a family of 3, my wife and I and our 10 year old daughter. We were coming out to the Berkeley Springs area for another VRBO that offered us an extra night on the front end of the trip at 20%, however after getting our hopes up that night was not actually available. So we decided to try and find a 1 night VRBO nearby and found the blue A-frame and our host Lara. From the beginning I knew this would be a great experience. In addition to approving the 1 night she offered, without me asking, to us an extended check out time into the early to mid-afternoon the next day, and that tells you everything you need to know about the host and the house, which was such an amazing and cool find. From the colors and textures to the little extras like an old record player with a great album collection, the house was perfect. We enjoyed the beds and sofa (very comfortable) the nice deck with really great mountain views and the entire outside area with various spots to sit and relax. The kitchen was well stocked for it's size, the house very clean and offers guests so much character. We've stayed at tons of VRBO's over the years, only a handful meet the "we have to come back again" list, this was one of them. The pictures and descriptions were all as advertised and communicating with Lara was a breeze. Thanks again to her for her hospitality and we'll definitely be back for a longer than 1-night stay! Regards, Joe from Delaware.
The Lucky Lookout was a perfect get-away place for is to relax with friends. The cabin was spacious for 4 adults and a dog. The hostess provided all the comforts of home except the food and drink which we conveniently bought in town. The views from the back deck were gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing deer, woodpeckers and star gazing in the evening with host-provided high intensity binoculars. The fenced in portion of the yard was great for the dog. Plus we enjoyed the fire pit on the evening! The cabon is not far from Cacapon State Park eher we walked and then enjoyed donned. It was also convenient to downtown Berkley Springs and other places to enjoy! I’d highly recommend a stay st the Lucky Lookout!
This is a beautifully kept clean property . Everything was spot on. It is so peaceful and beautiful. A perfect retreat . We loved it. The dog loved it too. She was the lookout

We're so glad you (and your pup!) enjoyed our cabin! We hope you'll be able to visit again to check out the views in different seasons :)
It was nice but poorly lite at night. The thermostat were very difficult to work even with a guide book. One light was wired with two extension cords which is a no no.

We're so glad you enjoyed your visit overall! The mini-split remote certainly has a learning curve, but we'll revisit our instructions to see if we can make them clearer - and I'm also just a call or text away to help.
One small note: the dining room light runs on a single extension cord - not 2 - but we take safety seriously and will double-check that everything is up to snuff.
We loved our weekend stay here! The house was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The setting is beautiful and private. Our kids and dogs loved the accommodations as well!
I’ve rented nothing but dog-friendly cabins, but this beautiful property is on another level. Amazing fenced in yard, beautiful large property — the cabin is updated and spacious. Beautiful details, the views are next level. We will certainly be back!
