The house was very clean when we arrived! Although there isn’t central air, there are window units in every room making it very comfortable! We had a wonderful time! For those reading reviews for environment - BEWARE OF MOSQUITOES! Bring bug spray! The mosquitoes are prolific right now due to the rain and standing water this time of year. They will bite through your clothes.

Upon arrival, we found the property to be rather dirty as the beds appeared to be not clean and the sheets provided came stained and the blankets on the bed were clearly not washed between guests. The dishes provided were not cleaned between guests either. Aside from the mosquitoes, there were bugs everywhere in the king bed room and the outside lights didn’t work. There were no lights on the stairs making it dangerous to go down at night nor on the patio/screened in porch limiting our ability to spend time out side. Was an easy walk to the beach, the shower was very roomy, and the AC units worked very well. I

Nice central location allowed us to make day trips north and south. We appreciated the house layout being all on one level to minimize climbing steps for my elderly parents. We had a late arrival and discovered we were missing sheets for the king size bed - host did not respond to messages in the VRBO app or phone text. Had to telephone the host service the following day. Overall, though, all features were as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay.
