About the host
Hosted by Hazel Scanlon
My husband went to URI for undergrad and we quickly fell in love with the area, deciding it was the perfect place to raise a family. We have lived here for almost 5 years and have loved the unique surf culture South Kingstown has to offer.
Why they chose this property
South Kingstown is a great central area in Southern Rhode Island - an easy, quick drive to surrounding towns such as Narragansett, Charlestown, Westerly, and East Greenwich. We love the convenience of being near local grocery stores, restaurants and more that you just can’t get in secluded neighborhoods right on the beach. Being near URI is a great perk for our student renters as well. We also love the nearby bike path which provides access into downtown Wakefield and even parts of Narragansett.
What makes this property unique
We love the outdoor shower after a long day at the beach, and unwinding by the fire on the outdoor patio. Coffee on the screened in three season porch allows you to enjoy whatever weather New England has to offer.
