Cozy, sunlit studio apartment with great morning light from two skylights overhead.
Our studio is the perfect place to explore Portland from. We're a short walk to the best of historic Southeast Portland.
The garden studio is a newly renovated, well-furnished basement apartment, complete with one bedroom/living room, dining room, kitchenette, a bathroom, and a private exterior entrance.
By the time you’ve set your bags down, you’ll have forgotten it’s a basement unit–this recently finished apartment extends off the back of the original house, which means plenty of beautiful daylight in the windows and high slanted bedroom ceilings. The kitchen ceiling though, in typical basement apartment fashion, is on the shorter side. The lowest ceiling point is 6'4" in the kitchen.
The path to the apartment’s private entrance runs alongside of the front yard to the back of the house and descends down a few concrete steps. It’s a short, easy set of steps, but please be cautious in the rain.
We live upstairs, which means you may hear a footstep now and then, but we’re a quiet, conscientious couple (we’re both bookish authors), and we do our best to make ourselves scarce.

Well-appointed and clean. Very much as described plus some extras, such as lots of surge-protected outlets and good use of nightlights. The owner was easy to reach for the few questions we had. Convenient SE Portland location.
