The Hen House was very cute and we really enjoyed our stay there. We mostly used the facilities to sleep at night as my sister had her RV and was hooked up. Therefore, we hung around with them most of the time during our stay. We enjoyed walking on the trails and enjoying the scenery., especially at night! The stars were beautiful!! It did get a bit warm and the windows were difficult to open, but besides that we had no issues. We hope to return again.

This cabin is part of the Sacramento Mountain Retreat property. It has multiple cabins, and a spacious lodge that can be rented. Our cabin (The Hen House) was exactly what we needed as we attended a week long church retreat. The hosts were proactive in sharing check in information and easy to communicate with throughout the week. The beds were comfortable, the hot water was plentiful and the amenities were exactly as expected. We plan on returning next year and have shared the information with friends who hope to rent cabins as well.
