In the characteristic alleys of Modica, behind the majestic Cathedral of San Giovanni, on the top of the hill, among the fragrance and charm of history, is this beautiful terraced house with a common outdoor area. An external stone staircase leads to a mezzanine on a rock where a gate allows access to the accommodation. From a partially covered and partially sunny terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside and the rooftops of the city. The part of the terrace covered with reeds and plexiglass is equipped with sofas and table to spend pleasant moments of relaxation. Going up three steps, you enter the house in a cozy living room with sofa corner and modern fireplace. The living room leads to the bedroom and kitchen / dining room. A small Roman balcony overlooks the majestic church of San Giorgioi. The house is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a sofa bed (suitable for children) and a sofa bed with bed frame and orthopedic mattresses. The accommodation is located in the upper part of Modica between narrow and characteristic streets, it was the outbuilding of an ancient noble palace. The historic center of Modica is about 1 km away. This is an excellent starting point to visit the most interesting places in the province of Ragusa and Syracuse such as Scicli, Ragusa, Ragusa Ibla and Comiso within a radius of about 25 km, while Noto, Porto Palo and Siracusa are within about 40 km. To the sea of the splendid Iblea coast it is about 15 km. Here you can expect long beaches with golden sand and crystal clear water. In the evening Modica offers many characteristic places where tradition and cultr have not lost their charm. Do not miss to taste the chocolate of Modica, famous all over the world.
