A beautifully restored duplex with a story to tell! Once serving as quarters for soldiers during the Spanish-American War, this historic building now shines as a vibrant beach cottage retreat. Nestled just behind Officer’s Row and beside another Mermaid Cottages treasure—the Enlisted Men’s Mess Hall/Screened Inn duplex—it offers guests a unique connection to Tybee’s past. Lovingly renovated, the home is bright, colorful, and a true showcase of coastal cottage style, blending history with whimsical décor and modern comfort.

COTTAGE ON THE GREEN B
Cottage on the Green “B” is one half of a historic cottage duplex. This 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath retreat begins with entry through a spacious screened porch.

With an open living, dining, and kitchen area there is room for guests to relax and enjoy the spend quality time together.

Queen Bedroom #1 is sunny and cheerful, with a flat-screen TV for downtime. Its screened sleeping porch adds a touch of whimsy, featuring a swinging full-sized bed, breezy ceiling fan, cozy curtains, and sparkling party lights—an irresistible spot to unwind.

Twin Bedroom #2 features two twin beds with beautiful bedding and an attached full bathroom that includes a tub and shower combination. This bathroom also provides direct access to the side yard and the outdoor shower, complete with both hot and cold water.
