Little Lake House: Wooded Retreat, 1 Min to Lake, Hot Tub, King Bed, Fiber WiFi
Lake days, waterfall hikes and hot-tub nights.
Make The Little Lake House your peaceful home base for Center Hill Lake and Tennessee’s waterfall country. Set on a wooded acre, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin sleeps four, with space for couples, families or friends to enjoy time together.
Walk five minutes or drive one minute to the public boat launch. Spend the day on the water or exploring waterfalls and trails, then return to a private hot tub, dinner on the deck and an evening around the fire pit. Guests especially appreciate the well-stocked home, peaceful surroundings and Tony’s personal recommendations.

COMFORTABLE INSIDE, PEACEFUL OUTSIDE
Vaulted ceilings, warm wood and large windows bring the wooded surroundings into this 1,175-square-foot cabin. Stretch out on the sectional, enjoy the electric fireplace or gather at the dining table for a meal or game.
The home is on one level, with no interior stairs, central heating and air conditioning. Both bedrooms have Roku TVs. The primary bedroom has a king bed, an en suite bathroom and glass doors opening onto the deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed, workspace and printer. Both bathrooms include towels and essential toiletries.
Outside, settle into the hammock or a sun lounger, grill dinner and soak in the hot tub beneath the trees. End the day with a fire or set up the projector on the deck for movie night.
A KITCHEN READY FOR YOUR STAY
Cook breakfast before heading out or share dinner after a day of exploring. The kitchen includes a full-size stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, cookware and cooking basics.
The stocked coffee-and-tea station has drip and Keurig coffee makers, regular and decaf coffee, tea, an electric kettle and the extras.
Choose the kitchen island with seating for four, the indoor dining table or outdoor dining for six.
BETWEEN ADVENTURES
An arcade cabinet, board games and books offer plenty to enjoy during quiet afternoons or rainy days. Roku TVs and a portable projector with a screen provide options for indoor or outdoor viewing; use your own streaming subscriptions.
A full-size washer and dryer with detergent make longer stays convenient. A Pack ’n Play is also available.
LAKE DAYS & WATERFALL OUTINGS
Puckett Point Public Boat Launch is approximately 400 yards away—a five-minute walk or one-minute drive along the road. The concrete ramp and free paved parking provide convenient access for launching boats, kayaks and paddleboards. This public access point has no dock, restrooms or marina services.
Hurricane Marina is a short drive away for boat rentals, waterfront dining and marina facilities.
Beyond the lake, explore Burgess Falls, Rock Island and other regional waterfalls and hiking trails. Visit the Appalachian Center for Craft, discover local restaurants or take a scenic drive.
I’m happy to help you plan outings that suit your group. Guests regularly mention how my recommendations for waterfalls, trails, lake activities and food helped them get more from their stay.
PARKING & DOGS
Parking accommodates multiple vehicles and a small boat trailer for boats up to 16 feet. Maneuvering can be tight; message Tony through Vrbo before booking to confirm your boat-and-trailer setup will fit.
One dog up to 40 pounds is welcome with prior approval and a $100 pet fee. Two small dogs may be considered if their combined weight is no more than 60 pounds. Larger dogs require approval before booking. Dogs must be crated when left unattended. The pet fee excludes damage or excessive cleaning.
GUEST ACCESS & ARRIVAL
You’ll have private use of the entire cabin, including both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen and living area, plus the wraparound deck, hot tub, grill, fire pit and wooded yard. Parking is available in the private driveway. Locked owner storage and the garage are unavailable to guests.
Smart-lock self-check-in makes arrival easy. Your access code and detailed arrival instructions will be provided before your stay. The approach includes narrow, winding roads, so arriving before dark can make your first visit easier.
I respect your privacy and remain available through Vrbo for assistance and local recommendations.

Tony was great from the very beginning. He answered my questions quickly and provided recommendations on fishing, hiking and places to eat. It felt like we were his only client with how responsive he was. It made planning our trip so much easier. The little lake house was very clean and we felt right at home once we walked in. There was everything we needed to help us unwind after our day trips. The lake is beautiful. It felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. Highly recommend the little lake house!

Nick it was a pleasure hosting your group, and your comments are truly appreciated. A friend in the service industry told me over thirty years ago that success depends on your client getting the feeling that they are your only client based on the service and attention they receive. It was truly fulfilling to read your comment regarding your feeling that you were our only client based on the service you received.
Thanks again, and we would love to have you as a repeat guest.

You were a pleasure to host, and I hope you left with some great stories and memories from Center Hill Lake. Come back anytime. I’d be thrilled to have you!
We had a wonderful stay enjoying nature and watching the World Cup! The beautiful surroundings made using their outdoor projector an absolute highlight. We experienced a brief hiccup due to the weather—a power outage for about four hours in the morning—but Tony was right on top of it with updates. By the time we came back from breakfast, everything was back to normal. The accommodations were clean, and all of the appliances have been wonderfully updated.

Mother Nature throws us a curveball every now and then, but I'm glad I could keep you informed during that brief morning outage and that it didn’t disrupt your plans.
We've put a lot of care into modernizing the property, so it’s fantastic to hear that you appreciated the clean accommodations and the updated appliances.
You were fantastic guests, and we would love to welcome you back anytime for another relaxing getaway.

About the host
Hosted by Anthony DePass
Hi I’m Anthony. I’m an educator/ scientist and frequent traveler who believes the best stays feel comfortable, thoughtful, and easy. The Little Lake House is a gentle retreat where couples can slow down, and small families or friends can reconnect in a peaceful, natural setting. I host with care, responsive without hovering, and I’m happy to share favorite spots for swimming, hiking, waterfalls, and great food around Center Hill Lake. I hope your stay feels restful, meaningful, and worth coming back to.
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it has elements that I have found desirable. It is private, has a spacious property, fantastic views from the deck and the rooms, and ready access to the water. In addition, it is located in close proximity to several parks with waterfalls and great hiking. Of course the local wineries and distilleries add another dimension to the attractiveness of the location.
What makes this property unique
This home is unique in many ways. First the design elements that combine modern and rustic forms work well together. The location of a 1 minute drive (5 minute walk) to a boat launch and swimming area is a home run. The cabin has a lot of privacy and gives that tree top vibe but with nice views of the lake. My absolute favorite is the sunrises that lights up the house through the large windows and doors. You are literally awakened by the rays as the sun rises above the ridge, cutting across the deck into the primary bedroom and living room.
