It is a nice place but it is not handicapped accessible at all my grandma had a hard time getting in the door.

The property is not advertised as being handicap accessible. There are filters on VRBO allowing you to search for such things. The property is advertised as having both bedrooms and the full bathroom with shower upstairs. Due to this, it should not have been considered as an option during your search for accommodations.
