Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is a mix of smaller and larger homes with history dating back to the 1860s. The home across the tree line was built in 1800s by the owner of Hyer Boots which was started and is still based in Kansas City. It is still owned by the grandson. The area is rich with history and tradition.
What makes this property unique
This home was originally built in 1947 and has been renovated several times over the years. We recently did a renovation with the goal of creating a homey and comfortable experience for groups of all types. This home has a bold design that is fresh and modern, but brings back the feel of comfort and tradition while maintaining the unique character that only older homes bring.
