Escape to the mountains and enjoy a warm, family-friendly getaway in Cold Springs, California. Our inviting two-story cabin is perfectly located just 10 minutes from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Pinecrest Lake, and Leland Meadows, making it an ideal home base for year-round adventure.

In the winter, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and snow play nearby. During the summer, Pinecrest Lake offers boating, swimming, hiking, and fishing, surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery. The charming town of Twain Harte is close by with local shops and dining, and Black Oak Casino is just a short drive away. The area is also known for its rivers, lakes, and dams, perfect for fishing and outdoor exploring.

Our spacious cabin features two large living rooms and a fully stocked open kitchen, ideal for families and groups. Step outside onto two decks and take in peaceful mountain views—perfect for morning coffee or relaxing evenings.

Downstairs, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a full tub and bath, a second bedroom with a king-size bed, and a third bedroom with a queen bed, plus an additional full bathroom and washer and dryer.

Two pull-out sofa beds provide extra sleeping space for guests

Amenities include Starlink Wi-Fi, a wood-burning stove, gas barbecue, TV for movie nights, easy access year-round.

LOVED IT. Host was very attentive. The place was terrific in every way. Cozy, clean, spacious and updated and 15 minutes from Dodge Ridge. It has two living areas and one has 2 pull out couches which we didn't need to use. Kitchen was well stocked and they even left us a Welcome Snack Basket which we devoured!We would definately go back.

We had such an incredible stay at this cabin in the Cold Springs area, even in the middle of February’s major snowstorm! While we unfortunately experienced a power outage for much of our trip, the hosts truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time.They were constantly checking in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. They generously supplied plenty of firewood so we could stay warm and cozy despite the weather, and they even ensured the driveway was shoveled so we could safely get in and out. Their attentiveness and kindness made all the difference.The cabin itself is absolutely lovely, with beautiful views and such a warm, welcoming feel. Even though we weren’t able to fully utilize the kitchen due to the outage, it was hands-down the most well-stocked rental kitchen we’ve ever experienced — and we’re frequent renters (this was our third snow trip this year!). The cookware, utensils, pots, pans — everything you could possibly need was there and then some. It truly felt like a home, not just a rental.The hosts were gracious, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about our experience. We had an amazing time despite the circumstances, and that really speaks to how special this place and these owners are. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

We love our mountain getaway and we hope you do too! We've been coming to vacation at Pinecrest and ski at Dodge Ridge for years with our kids and now our grandkids!

Why they chose this property

Peter Pam development is a very quiet area and we live the cul-de-sac. There's a great hiking trail at the end of the road! Pinecrest is 5-7 minutes away and if you don't feel like cooking Mia's restaurant is very close!
