Luxury direct sandy beachfront property. Awaken to the gentle sounds of the waves with breathtaking sunrises and gorgeous sunsets. Relax and dine on the patio with built-in kitchen. Take long walks on the sandy beach, paddle board on the calm waves or just relax and take in the sun. This home is perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The beach-house has 2 main bedrooms, and 3 full marble tiled bathrooms with air jetted tub. There is a 3rd sleeping area that doubles as a media room with a queen size bed. Waterviews abound from making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the unique surroundings.
The gourmet kitchen is complete with subzero fridge, dishwasher, blender, toaster and microwave and fully stocked with all the tools you would need to cook a complete meal.
The neighborhood is safe and enjoyed by many who choose to run and walk for enjoyment and exercise. The streets have lights for night time activities as well.
The neighborhood is unique as it has several restaurants within walking distance.
It is also minutes away by vehicle to the downtown area, shopping, restaurants, bars and night life, the local mall and theatre. Easy access to parks and other public beaches.

A perfect mid-summer mini vacation!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and three perfect summer days! We loved the location of the property - right on the beach and in a very nice beach community. The home is large and spacious with ocean views on all three floors. A gorgeous stainless steel kitchen greets you a few feet inside the front door and you can see out to the wonderful patio on the beach! We had our morning coffee and our evening drinks on the patio every day! There's a terrific living room on the second floor overlooking the ocean where we spent our late evenings. The master bedroom on the third floor, again facing the ocean, was good sized and had lots of closet space and storage. Because it was a very HOT time of the year, we were very grateful for the central air conditioning! A couple of things would have made our stay even better. A TV in one common area would have been nice. We don't watch TV in the bedroom and prefer to sit on comfortable furniture when watching it. Without a common area TV, a sound system would have been perfect. Danielle prepared us for our arrival and was very attentive to our needs, responding to our questions quickly. We really enjoyed our time here!

Yale graduation

Family of 5 for Yale graduation. Place was clean, comfortable and quiet. Right on the Sound with sandy beach just out the back door. Beautiful! Lotta steps so grandparents should be careful.

Great host and a beautiful beach front location. We will be back

The property is located right on the beach and faces Southeast. Amazing sun rises and a great breeze all day long. We did not cook, but the kitchen was fully stocked. It's a very modern kitchen and everything is stainless. We spent most of the time on the back porch overlooking the sound. Parking was easy and the living spaces enjoyable. The bed rooms were very nice, each with its own bath. The beds and linens were both comfortable.. we enjoyed our stay Thanks, Jeff

Perfect Family Getaway

My husband and I, along with our two daughters (4.5 years and 10 months), had a really wonderful vacation here. The ride from NYC was just 1.5 hours, which was an absolute pleasure as compared to what the traffic to the Hamptons can be. The house was perfect - the highlight definitely is the fact that it is right on the water and has an amazing back patio with a great comfortable couch. We spent a lot of time hanging on the couch in the shade of an umbrella, playing games, with the sand and water just steps away. It's the LI sound, which meant that there were no waves or current. It also had a very cool feature where at low tide, where the water retreated very far off the shore, you could walk all the way out and see tons of crabs and other sea creatures scuttling around. Our 4.5 year old absolutely loved this. We barbecued pretty much every night which was easy - we brought groceries but there was a supermarket (and dunkin donuts) just five minutes away. What also was nice was that when the girls went to bed, my husband and I were able to hang out outside on the couch and have a glass of wine within range of the monitor. There are a lot of stairs so you have to be careful about that with the kids, but at least it forced us to exercise a bit. Oh, we also went to the Beardsley Zoo one day which was a really good activity. Owners were very nice and super accessible to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

My boyfriend and I live in NYC. This was the perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway. The drive is an easy hour and a half (no traffic). Located right on the beach I enjoyed waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the sand and the gulls looking for their mornings breakfast. The convenience of having the beach in your back yard made it excellent for laying out, wading, or a quick dip. We enjoyed the amenities like having the grill out back which made for easy lunch and even easier clean up. It did feel a little too big for just the two of us for an entire weekend. So we invited some friends, 15 or so, (with the owners consent) and had a beginning of summer BBQ. The couple was warm, and always available to contact we needed. I highly recommend the pizza place a few houses down. They are friendly and the food is pretty tasty.

Peaceful Beach House in a nice, quiet neighborhood

Property was just as described on-line. Owner was available via text message 24- hours a day! Neighborhood closes all shops by 9pm but is a safe and friendly town. This property had a few minors repairs that would have been nice to know about ahead of time (for example, dishwasher was not operable). We would love to visit again when the weather is warmer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor nature of this property and town!
