Oceanfront Escape, Private Sandy Beach Getaway

Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home located on Silver Sands Beach with magnificent ocean views and full private beach access! Our home is located in a beachy, family-friendly neighborhood with tons of activities to do! The boardwalk is a located at the end of our street (just a quick walk away) and you can find some of the best restaurants in downtown Milford or New Haven! There is also a public beach at the end of our street, in addition to a national state park.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

2-bedroom cottage across the street from beach

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The location was great, across the street from a private beach entrance into Silver Sands Beach and within walking distance to Silver Sands State Park and Walnut Beach. We took the boardwalk to Walnut Beach and discovered their weekly summer concert with food trucks available. It was a lot of fun! With that being said, I wish that I knew that the cottage was a downstairs unit instead of the whole cottage. Unfortunately, there was a very active child staying upstairs from us that routinely woke us up at 6 am. every day!

Nicely Done!

Check-in a bit rough host got lock out of their Vrbo account causing a late check-in. Host was apologetic and accommodating. Property nicely decorated lots of extras. Kitchen had plenty of nice utensils. We enjoyed our short stay.

Almost Perfect

We loved our weekend getaway to Milford. With a few tiny improvements in the bedrooms, this lovely rental would be perfect (reading lamps, mirror, and mattress upgrades). The owners were lovely to deal with before and when we arrived. The property was so clean and the shower pressure was amazing: We loved being across the street from one beach and walking distance to another. It was a nice touch to have beach towels and chairs available for use. Additionally, providing paper towels, napkins, toilet paper coffee/tea options was a nice touch and so appreciated. When we weren’t at the beach, we went to an outdoor market on Milford Green, a short hike on the Beaver Brook Trail, and grabbed ice cream at Scoopy Doos. We have driven by Milford many times on the way to NYC and am really glad we took the chance to explore this small town.

Amazing location, comfortable, cute!

We had an amazing time here! There’s so much to do right there, so many places to eat, so much stuff a short drive away! House was so cozy and clean and cute. Couch and beds were so comfortable and lots of goodies there from owners! Thank you so much!

We believe the beach is the best way to relax, heal, & escape. :)

Our home is located in a beachy community where my sister and I spent our summers growing up. Our home is cozy yet spacious with all the amenities you could possibly need to dine in, relax, walk to the beach and enjoy! Fully equipped with kitchen amenities, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs and even a beach umbrella! :)

Family friendly neighborhood. Many of our neighbors are year-round stayers. Our no party policy ensures our neighbors that we have respectful guests staying in our home. We can't wait for you to enjoy the sunshine and beach breeze!
