Perfect Beach House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean & loved the beachy decor. The location is so close to everything that we rarely used our car. Plus the beach as your backyard is awesome! Highly recommend this property!

Great location and beautiful property

Beautiful condo right on the beach. Very well stocked with kitchen items, beach chairs and toys, and everything else we needed to make our stay comfortable. Easy check in and out process and the management company was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend.

The layout of the condo is a bit choppy but the two large balconies add great space to visit and enjoy the views.

Family Week in Pismo

Lovely property. Literally in the sand. Two deck levels. 2-car garage. Well-equipped though wish usual hotel amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap) were included. Walk to anywhere downtown. Easy check in/out. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at the Pismo Shores since they were built. It is a perfect place for children to have a great time since you can walk out to the beach, swim in the pool and spend hours relaxing in while overlooking the beautiful views of Pismo. We enjoy our visit each year and already looking forward to next year.

Spring Break in Pismo

As they say- location, location, location. This property was perfectly located for everything Pismo. Rarely used our rental car. Property was clean, well stocked, and nicely laid out for 3 generations. Only downside, and it’s not really even a downside, just a little inconvenient, was that to access the deck you need to go downstairs, and then from there you could go up stairs to the top deck. Didn’t keep us from thoroughly enjoying our vacation. Just a heads up in case stairs are an issue for anyone in your party. Overall would definitely rent again and other family members are also likely to rent as well!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another great stay at Pismo Shores. We found our accommodations clean and comfortable. It is a perfect vacation spot especially when you have small children who like the beach and then spending time in the pool. We did find there were teenagers who jumped the pool fence and were causing issues for families staying at the facility. More security is needed to prevent this from happening in the future. The kitchen utensils need to be upgraded. We found several that were in need of being replaced.

A few tips that need to be addressed, slow drain in guest bathtub, king bed in back bedroom is squeaky and uncomfortable. Other than those two things, everything else is great! We have been staying at Pismo Shores for 12 years! Looking forward to many more years here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 130. Overall things were good. Space is as advertised and fairly clean. Location, of course, is great. Staff did a very good job on arrival communicating ahead of time prior to our arrival and making it easy to get checked in and out. A few things that could be improved on. Bed mattresses are old and a bit uncomfortable. Same for towels. I think the water filter on the refrigerator needs to be replaced - not filtering out the alkaline taste you get from tap water. outside patio areas are great. You might consider having them get a quick 5 minute cleaning ahead of new arrivals --lots of cobwebs, etc. over everything. Also, the furniture outside is showing some wear and tear. The webbing on one of the chairs had webbing that was tearing. Appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards being in the garage. I think having a beach umbrella would be a good add on for those of us flying in from outside the area that can't bring that.Overall, we had a great time and would come back. I'd be asking about the beds though :-)

Excellent property, excellent location!

Excellent location, awesome amenities. My family stayed here for 8 days, and it felt like home. Steps from the beach, but still feels private enough to share a meal on the lower patio or go to the upper patio to watch the pods of whales swimming past. The kitchen is well-outfitted, the beds are comfortable, and the fixtures and finishes are modern and high-quality. The garage is a nice bonus, and the hosts provide beach toys, boogie boards, and beach towels. And excellent stay, and we look forward to returning next year.

The location, amenities and the staff at Coastal Vacation make this an easy process every year. Unit 130 is our favorite and since the remodeling it is the best unit you will find in Pismo. We thank the owner and her generosity in allowing us to stay there. The memories we have had the past 20 years will never be forgotten. With my job as a high school teacher and athletic director I get 1 week a year to turn off my phone and not answer emails and I can't think of a better place to spend that week

Pool, Hot Tub and Club House are perfect for our family. Our extended family rents 5 units here all at the same time and we enjoy this vacation. 130 is our favorite condo and we look forward to spending many more summers here. Kitchen is fully stocked and we finally have enough bath towels. Patio is great, but needs a new one umbrella. Overall, favorite family vacation spot. Breakfast and Hoagies is amazing, Lunch at Wooly’s, dinner at Zorro’s and delivery from Del’s are yearly favs. Can’t beat the cinnamon rolls and Beachin Biscuits is a must. My dad came here as a kid with his family and now he enjoys time with the grandkids. Love this place!

Yearly vacation spot needs repairs

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First and foremost its an amazing location. Because we had a Christmas day arrival it made the water heater being broken a big problem. When we arrived there was a small leak, which became much bigger when the maintenance (cringe here) unfortunately made it worse. No one gave us updates and we were there for just shy of 24 hours with no hot water. And a 1/4 flooded garage, neighbors were advising us about the water running out of our garage onto the drive and parking area. We have stayed here before and were surprised this visit by how run down everything was. The outdoor chair cushions were torn and threadbare. Blankets were left wadded in the hide-a-bed. The stools doen stairs are rickety and one completely unusable. Dirty towel folded in the clean towels and the toilet brush unit in master bath was black with mold. The location is tops! I would hope the unit would be better cared for for the price. And we arent allowed pets in 130, but the neighbor to the soith of us as a lottle dog tbat barks a lot!!! And we were given a gate code when we aigned the contract but it was not what we needed to get in. Again made worse due to the holiday. Is there a maybe on would I refer a friend? It's an awesome location and view, so close to everything Pismo.

The location is the best. You can sit out on the balcony all day and watch the whales play. The condos are always very clean when we check in. It was a little warmer this year so it would be nice if there were ceiling fans in the rooms. Always a pleasure spending our 2 weeks in Pismo during the summer.
