Vacation summary

The house is in a great location…We love the outdoor area for our pets. However, after staying here last year we noticed that some outside updates that could have taken place. Some of the deck boards are rotted, the kitchen needs to be updated, the back door needs to be replaced, and there were two chairs we left last year by the trash that were still there after over a year. That makes us concerned that the grounds are not being over seen. The responsiveness is very good and we are appreciative of that. We did enjoy our stay….

Greatest vacation ever!

The house was incredible. The whole family enjoyed it. We enjoyed the pool walking to the beach and each having our own bedrooms. It was a very functional space and we enjoyed every minute.!! We will return!

Crystal beach house

Lovely beach house with private pool and close to everything! Short 4 minutes to the beach! Close to shops, restaurants, and things to do! Would highly recommend!!

The overall quality of the home was good. Things such as kitchen cabinets, interior and exterior doors, decking, and landscape could use some maintenance and upkeep. Compared to other places we’ve stayed the home was average for the cost but in an ideal location and generally met our needs. Two points of interest for future stayers, bring extra blankets if you are the type who likes a blanket on your lap while you sit on the couch or if folks you stay with like the house on the chilly side, there are no throw blankets or extra blankets provided. Also, because of the large trees near the pool the pool doesn’t receive full sun for much of the day causing the water to be a bit chilly even on 95 degree days. We were there the first week of August and sunbathing by the pool was only really possible early in the day before the sun made its way behind the trees.

Perfect Location

The location is perfect - just a short walk to the beach and close to many restaurants. The house is in a small neighborhood that is very private and quiet. The house is nicely decorated and has a new sofa and new flooring. The listing and pictures are accurate. I have stayed in several houses along the gulf coast and this is one of my favorites. I highly recommend this place and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here at Sandy at the Beach. We were here with our children and grandchildren. There was plenty of space for everyone and everything. The pool and backyard was a great place for our family to hang out and enjoy the sun. The house was a short walk to the beach. We did not pay extra to rent the golf cart, but it would have been very useful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
